Ghostbusters General Thread

Got an email yesterday from Pulse that my order was getting ready to ship.

It was for the 84 Proton Pack (Made-To-Order). They pushed the date back to June 1st, but in the email it still says June 1st. So I am guessing they got the shipment in earlier than expected and it is no longer June 1st.

Got a shipping notification for the standard version of Ray tonight. All four busters will soon be in place - what a time to be alive.
 
Has anyone received a notification from bbts for Winston? It's surprising Ray is coming out from Mondo before Winston comes out from retailers.
 
I ordered Jada SF THawk the other day and looked at my preorders on BBTS, and it now says Winston & Ray are expected in May.

No communication from them about the delay on Winston.
 
BBTS always just auto updates releases to the current month if it doesn't hit the original date. Next month it'll say June if it hasn't shipped yet.
 
Those single sets had better still be coming out. If they don't come out, it'll ruin my life. No exaggeration.
 
I'm sure they're coming unless Mondo is lying to us about how well this line is selling.

Would that lie affect preorders? I don't know how Mondo works. I don't think these things are MTO, but will they not produce an item if their preorders didn't hit the minimum mark?
 
I wonder if Mondo was waiting for Ray to be ready before sending both figures to retailers. If they knew Ray was only a month or so behind Winston, maybe they held off until both were ready to save on shipping. Whatever the case, I'm not worried. I expect we'll be getting 'arriving soon' emails from bbts any day now.

Technically speaking, every company has a number when it comes to preorders and if they don't hit a certain mark then they won't happen. We know Mondo produced these figures for their direct sales so I'd be surprised if they turned the spigot off, so to speak, and didn't produce units for other retailers. I think I mentioned it awhile back in here, but my Spider-Man order through a different retailer lagged behind Mondo's by several months. I think they just prioritize their direct orders first before fulfilling the rest.
