I feel this.I'm in my early 40s and I found my eating habits have mostly only caught up with me because I've spent the last several years now running a company from a desk instead of being out in the field doing the physical work. I imagine if I kept active all day, I wouldn't be struggling to keep that little bit of extra weight off, and would still be able to eat horribly (and boy do I).
The weight isn't horrible. But it isn't great. I have been going to the gym and eating better. Or trying to. And I am one of those genetic freaks where if I commit myself, and go regularly to the gym, I can get in shape in no time. I have gone from moobies to pecs in 3 months time in the past. Legit.
I just really, REALLY love to sit. And pizza.
But the way I have abused my body over the years, my knees and ankles are shot. The way I have always been a floor sitter, who sits criss cross, apple sauce...even at the age of 43...
Walking in the morning getting out of bed is the worst. It takes me a minute to loosen up. Sometimes the knees give out. It's all catching up.
