I am right there with you. It's wishlist overload up in this mf.

I have to say that I don't have a problem with the wishlists and polls. Just the opposite, I like them. It lets us know where everyone's head is at as far as character selection. AND ... (This is the really important part) it let's Hasbro know what we want. Trust me, they're paying attention. AND the poll results give us ammunition to take with us to SDCC. "Y'know, Dwight and Dan, Mantis and Swordsman consistently finish at or near the top in our polls. When might we see figures?" AND the poll results make for some really cool trading cards that we can give to the team which they really like.

So I think the polls and wishlists are great. HOWEVER ... if it's going to be a problem, let me make a suggestion. Perhaps a sub-forum can be created here on the Marvel Toys board that they can be moved to. I personally don't like that idea because not everyone looks at sub-forums. They don't get as much traffic. Folks tend to visit the main board and that's it. I would like as many people to vote in these polls as possible.

Anyway, that's my two cents. I'll leave it up to the powers that be.
 
Yeah, I don't have a problem with the polls or wishlists themselves; I like them and appreciate their value. I just think there has been an overwhelming amount of them in too short a period of time. The first two pages are basically all wishlists and polls. I mean, if y'all are working on a serious Marvel Legends research program and have a fast-approaching deadline or something, I guess I could understand. But, as it stands, there are just too gd many to keep track of.

Here's the deal with the wish lists and polls:

The wish lists are every 2 weeks.
The polls are new.
The goal is to do a wish list, then 2 weeks later, do the corresponding poll for that same wish list.
So, I'm trying to play catch up.

I've been doing a poll every week since I started them.
Last week had 2 polls: the Cinematic poll and the Spidey poll.
The reason I did 2 polls in one week is that the Cinematic wish list thread only had a handful of participants so I figured the poll might only have a handful of participants as well. That's why I slipped in the Spidey poll as well.
That was the only week I planned on doing 2 polls.

Going forward until I get caught up:
1 wish list thread every 2 weeks.
1 poll every week.

I'm pretty close to being caught up.

Also, if a wish list doesn't get enough response, I won't do a poll.
As it stands right now, the Western poll is very iffy since it didn't get a great response, but time will tell.
