General Marvel Legends

Right. I wanna say that's what I was getting at, I just worded it terribly. Attacking them as a person feels weird to me, or just attacking them for the hobby itself. There's a difference between a critique and an attack, and these warring nerds seem to just love starting drama and pitting their fanbases against each other.

Aaaaanywho. Interesting reveal on NWH Andrew Spidey; wonder what changed rights-wise, and if that means we can also get redos of Gobby and Ock for the Raimi trilogy. Don't think I ever thought we'd get an updated one. I kinda like the darker blue on him, honestly, so I don't know how needed this one feels. Maybe if they ever go back and do a blue Foxx Electro and a DeHaan Goblin.

Agreed. At this point it's pretty hard to doubt that it's this Punisher Mech that they've been teasing all along, especially since it was leaked months before they started teasing it. I'd consider this confirmed at this point. The question is how much is it going to cost? When the leak first came out, it was said that it was going to be very expensive, which made me think that it was going to have to be a MTO or HasLab offering.

I'm definitely going to need to get the Lizard BAF re-issue and the new She-Hulk. Unfortunately I'll be traveling for work when these go up so with my luck they'll probably sell out on me before I can get to them.

Yeah, the rows of eyes seem like a pretty good match.

Which may mean Dwight is being a bit disingenuous - given this has been widely speculated for weeks now, and certainly since the last con, is there still really nobody who has approached him with this as an answer?

One of my strongest toy memories is still the LEGO catalogues that would have photo shoots with little dioramas with all the sets from that year, and then on the other page it would show each set with its part number. Fucking BRILLIANT marketing and a joy to look at even today.

And the '90s X-Men line had that little fold out catalogue with some of the larger items that showed every item released to date. Loved that.
Memories...
I spent most of my adult life being absolutely ashamed to be a part of the collector community because of shitheads like these.
I'm glad you found this place so you can hang with shitheads like us! ;)

Luckily no reveals today I need. I guess Lizard is a maybe, but I know I'll end up passing on it. Good. Easy on my wallet today. We'll see what the end of the year stream looks like.

Yeah I think you’re right. Still such a weird choice. I don’t dislike it. But the armor barely lasted a couple of panels.

If you are going to make an all new armored sculpt, there are some other options like…

Titanium Man
Crimson Dynamo
Firepower
Punisher War Machine
Force
Sunturion
Dreadnaught robots

It was pretty obvious with the rocket launchers, but now it's confirmed. Not my first choice, or tenth either, but I'm excited. If it has the battle damage like the launchers it will be cool and I like how deep of a cut it is. I would have preferred Titanium Man or something, but cool. I wonder if the choice has to do with the Hulk line since that's who he fought in the armor. Makes the most sense.

Just did a count of what I bought this year and... it's more than I should have, responsibility-wise, but I my "dammit, why did I buy this figure" list is only like, five or six Legends. I truly LIKE the ones I bought, I just wish they released about 25% fewer characters in 2025.

Well, yeah, but we actually WANT those, so…y’know how that goes.
