It wasn't new info, but it did address a perspective I actually rarely hear people voice--and that's probably because I don't read Reddit much anymore and most people here are already aware of his point. His simple point is you can't compare the base, the comic, and the added paint apps that Toy Biz figures came with to modern figures because Toy Biz was owned by Marvel so there were no royalties to be paid like Hasbro has to do.
Bobby Vala backed him up and also added that the modern way that paint deco is applied is far more expensive than it used to be although he didn't give any detail for why that is and I don't know myself. If anyone knows how the toy production process has changed to make it more expensive like Vala was referring to please do share.
