I'm still concerned that the new Wolverine is way too big. Whatever for the game figure, but if that becomes the new body for Wolverine and it's too big, I'm gonna be unhappy.
 
Rachel Summers, Feral, Starfox, training uniform Sunspot, Mephisto, Outback Storm, a GOOD green dress Jean? It's almost too much for my heart all announced at once. Hasbro has really made up for Neca's poor showing this SDCC. Usually it's the other way around for me but holy shit.

I expected to be disappointed with Rachel because she's my favorite X-woman and the anticipation of her was at a fever pitch but she is perfect! I'm glad they did her now when they are doing things right because I can't imagine she would have ever turned out this good even 5 years ago. LOVE the fiery wings from the Excalibur #1 cover. Now I can start wishing for the B-tier Excalibur people because Dwight said in the recap that Rachel puts us CLOSER to completing Excalibur, not that she completes it.

I will say while I like the body this Cyclops is on much more than the old Bucky Cap body, I don't like the colors on it nearly as much as the old one. I love those bright blue highlights on that one.

He just pops on the shelf so much!

Similar to how there are a variety of different bodies used for Spidey which more or less represent different eras... this body would be firmly set in the 90s esthetic

Well... no. It would be firmly set in the '90s Video Game aesthetic. By and large '90s Wolverine was still super short. Obviously we can go back and forth and play that stupid game where we cherry pick specific comic panels to make a point, but I think it's fair to just say 'Wolverine wasn't 6' tall in the '90s as a general rule."

So in any case my concern is still valid; this body, even if too tall, will absolutely work for old video game versions of the character, but if they also use it for comic versions then (IF it is too tall), it'll be inaccurate and I won't be happy about it.
 
Sitting in the room for this panel was fun. While I'm not in love with the toon looks the '97 wave is still mostly awesome. Sunspot in his classic New Mutants outfit is a huge win. That Emma Frost looks fantastic. I can't say I love the Morph, but if any character is going to look cartoony it should be him. Also, Gyrich head is a great get. Jubilee looks great but hopefully someone will sell a 3rd party vampire head for her. The skips for me are Logan, basketball Gambit/Rogue,

Super excited for Starfox. Very happy to finally cross him off the list. Also finally Rachel Phoenix! and she's great. Feral too.
Also loving Warbow, and while I don't care overmuch about WWII Logan, he looks good and I will buy him.

Also super duper happy a out Stargod Man-Wolf. That is the Man-Wolf figure I've wanted for decades.

I was disappointed there was no hint of the Inhumans 2-packs though.

Oh you... think its too tall. I'll pour one out for ya, I think it'd make an awesome comic version.
 
As much love as I have for Feral and Rachel, I am happy to get another classic Avenger in Starfox. I'm middling on Champion, but appreciate another new character.
