Good catch! I'm actually really happy about that - Excalibur is an all-time favorite, so getting a mini-comic of that issue is pretty neat.

My thoughts (that no-one asked for 😆).

Magic the Gatherin Spider-Men wave.
Anti-Venom. I have one and I don't care enough about the character to need another.
MJ Iron Spider - Whaa? New to me, but also very cool looking so it's a definite purchase.
Man Wolf - Fuck. Yes!
Battle Damaged Spidey. I'd much prefer him on the Maximum body, but he's likely a purchase. Too many good fight options with it.

X-Men '97 figs. I don't need any of these except maybe Emma. I don't care for animated hair. I'd be mostly all in on this line if they came with an additional "comic" head or swappable comic looking hair. The 2-pack of Cyclops and Marvel Girl is the one exception.

Outback Storm... I really don't care for that look, but I do want to complete that team.

Emperor Doom - Gotta have him.

Starfox and Champion are a super-huge YES!! But... they missed the boat by not including large boxing gloves for Champion and smaller ones for for him to fight our heroes.

Was kind of considering the Daredevil/Punisher to fill that slot, but you're right they didn't get as much as everyone else. Still, we've gto Pulsecon and NYCC coming up. There's still time.
 
I have no particular connection to Feral or Rachel, but they’re bright, fun looking figures, so I’m leaning towards picking those up too.

Was hoping we’d see those rumoured lnhumans 2 packs.

Warbow and GI Wolverine would seem to confirm that rumoured wave - with Enchantress, Phantom Rider, Werewolf by Night and so on.
 
They needed to give Storm a more accurate hairstyle. She was letting the mohawk grow out, so it should be big '90s but sides still shaven.

Can anyone at SDCC please ask the team what the plan is for 97 Beast? Fan Channel solo card? Boxset with Trish? He's now the only one missing and is sorely needed. He's also incredibly sought after on the after-market so making him available again would complete a team and make Hasbro lots of money.

And NORM - agreed. Silver Storm could have used something more accurate hair or something new other than that cape. Painting her eyes would have been nice. I thought for a minute she had a new torso but I realized that's just the shitty silver swirl plastic. EDIT - she DOES have a new torso! The lightning bolt is sculpted! And now she reminds me of my ToyBiz Storm and now I probably have to have her. Boo/good job Hasbro. I stand corrected. :)

Cable looks really good. The Rogue/Gambit two-pack is terrific. I've just slowed down on Marvel so much and the stuff I really do want, they're not making. So this was pretty 'meh' for me, but I understand there were lots of good reveals that plenty of people have been wanting for a long time.
