General Marvel Legends

If you guys remember the paid forum on Fwoosh, called Froosh, that came from a typo that Adrian (I believe that's the name of the guy who owned action-figure.com) made regarding Fwoosh, after a Toy Fair or SDCC or something. I forget what the "lomos" meant, but he didn't seem to actually know the name of the site, or was trolling it, or was high or something when he typed it. I don't know if there are enough of us here who would remember any of this. But I'm not second guessing myself. I just don't have much more info to verify the story.
I do remember his name being Adrian.

I was also in the Froosh... but never paid. A few of us were supposed to write some articles for the Video Game offshoot of the Fwoosh called "The Coin Slot." Don't remember it? We never managed one full original article because 4 of us disagreed how to structure a rankings piece. Was granted Froosh access and for some reason it was never revoked.

I'm at 123 figures by my imperfect count. It covers all the stuff I want, but still makes me feel like a lunatic.
I'm closer to your end of the spectrum. I'm sitting a 155 and it feels like I can't go much further. If all my preorders come in I'm looking at 169. And yeah, makes me feel a bit weird. Whenever I look at the numbers I have a panicked urge to sell off stuff.

I think that I have a disorder. I've never counted, but I know that I literally have thouands of figures... it's honestly probably over 10,000.

I have at least one version of every Marvel character ever made by any of Hasbro, ToyBiz, Diamond, etc. I have 6", 7", 12", 3 3/4" and some of the old 5". This is also true for every DC character ever made by any of DC Direct / DC Collectibles, Mattel and McFarlane.

I also collect Spawn, GI Joe Classified, Power Rangers, Mario, Star Wars Black Series, Star Trek, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Ghostbusters, D&D, Simpsons, Transformers, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Invincible, Scooby Doo, MOTU, TMNT, WWE, AEW, Witcher, One Piece, My Hero Academia, and so, so much more. Plus I still have a lot of my figures from when I was a kid in the 80s.

I shudder to think of how many I own. Don't know if I could count them all even if I wanted to- somehow another one would always pop up. I feel like the resulting mix of "impressed but disappointed" isn't worth it- I'd either want to boost the number or lessen it, and neither is optimal. Like Gandalf said- "A collector never has too many figures. Nor too little. He owns precisely however many he means to."

I will continue to live in blissful ignorance.
