General Marvel Legends

Would actually make for a perfect SDCC exclusive. Non-essential, but big time fan service. Might require a ton of new tooling though...
Which I would think I could pass on hearing it and then they have really cool head sculpts or something and make me cave.

Yeah I think it would actually be incredibly popular considering the risk of a pure "civilian" themed set.

Sadly I would but them in sports clothes, their regular street clothes for mall shopping and Christmas outings, and probably some sort of formal wear given my desire for a tuxedo Gambit after X97.

A quick random assistance ask for the X-Men aficionados out there:
Knowing I'm a Marvel nut, my mother-in-law bought me this T-shirt for my birthday...

...and while I love the X-Men, as most know I'm not super well-versed on the modern stuff. I figured this was likely called X-Men First Class, but when I search for info/images I can't seem to find anything where they have the X on their chests; only on their abdomens.
What run is this design from? Is it a one-off? Please educate me.

Happened to find myself pootling about the bargain bins and found Nighthawk and Blur going for a song:

I guess I'm gonna have to track down the other two now, right? I probably should read the actual story one of these days too as it goes...

However, even better than that, I found The King going for a song, a mere ten bucks for abject greatness!

Hyperion/Dr Spectrum set is $23 on Amazon at the moment.

I have all the Squadron and other than Dr. Spectrum they are all pretty decent to great, (Spectrum is just on too old a buck to be considered anything above good for my collection,) but they heavily reinforce for me just how worthless Jason Aaron's Avenger run was. Marvel obviously thought it was going to be big because they got these figures out before the run ended, but I really don't see anybody talking about these characters anywhere except in toy forums. I think it just shows Marvel thinks a hot writer can write anything, and it's just not true. They tried to have Aaron be their universe's architect and that failed, then Cates and that failed, then McKay and that is failing. Maybe don't have one guy in charge, maybe a group like DC has with Waid, Williamson, and Snyder? I say this because DC has been the best its been in 20 years right now. Superman alone is at a creative high point I haven't seen since Rebirth, and before they let Bendis kill that book's readers interest.
