General Marvel Legends

Thank you for the birthday wishes, everyone! It means a lot to me.

So, I'm 67 years old. My plan is to stay alive long enough to see DC's 100th anniversary in 2035 and Marvel's 100th anniversary in 2039.

The life expectancy of the average American male is 78.39 years. In August of 2039 I'll be 80 years old, almost 81. So the odds are against me.

But this is why I like Han Solo. NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS. ;)

We believe in you, SD. Remember, average life expectancy is only the average. And I smoked 2-3 packs a day for like 15 years and work a very high stress job. So I'm over here just bringing the average way the fuck down. You're gonna be just fine.

You've got this.

I'm so confused by Marvel pricing. TS just put up the Starfox 2-pack. 69.99. They also recently put up the Punisher/Nick two-pack so it's listed right beside Starfox. 75.99. Why the fuck is the Punisher set 6 dollars more?
The higher price on the Punisher/Fury set (over a "standard" 2-pack) isn't brand new - it's a "deluxe" 2-pack - just like Punisher/Bushwacker last year, which was more 2x standard MSRP. Same with the Sentinels and Outriders sets. Starfox/Champion is a "standard" 2-pack, which comes out to MSRP x2. I'm not sure if "deluxe 2-pack" is actually a term they use or not, but that's how I've been thinking of it.

Not defending the premium pricing for a few extra "deluxe" accessories, but I think that's the reasoning. I'm pleasantly surprised that they didn't upcharge for Starfox/Champion, given Champ's size. That is also consistent with Drax/Moondragon, which was standard 2-pack price.

But it's so wwwwwwweeeeird. Like.. why? I just can't make sense of 6 dollars more for a few extra accessories (but you -don't- get the larger figures like Champion or Drax). They seem completely comparable to me.

This week's emails say that Strong Guy, Max Deadpool, GV Cap V Venom, Juggernaut, are all preparing to ship from Pulse.
