General Marvel Legends

I'm watching Dan Who? Reviews on YouTube and a rumor/leak that they say is pretty accurate most of the time in the list is correct and that Daredevil is Black Ninja Daredevil.
Just Rachel and Feral for me. Depends on which Widow it is.
Are we talking black suit Shadowlands ninja or the homemade pre DD black look.

Because if they did the Romira Jr art, that'd be sick.

That Super Skrull is an almost complete downgrade from the BAF. I bet the colors won't even match to use the new heads on the BAF release. Pretty underwhelming one, but an easy pass for people not wanting to do the bullshit exclusive dance.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Thank you for saving me money AND aggravation, Hasbro. I am happy with the Super Skrull I already have.
Maybe it's actually the ideal type of release for cons exclusives like this - similar to the Unlimited subscription Legend. Completely non-essential and easy to pass on even for the completest.

Anyone notice the giant Hasbro price increases today? Strong Guy is now $49.99, Max Doop is now $61.99, guaranteeing I will never own that figure.

I just grabbed Rogue/Gambit and Jean/Cyke from HP before they raise the price. Y'know, Black Series has been doing two-packs at $44.99 for awhile - wonder why the Marvel team can't offer the same...

Super Skrull is a miss for me, as well. The fire effects on the Toy Biz figure were a better idea:

Thank the president.

Yeah, fiery arm or rocky fiery arms woulda been cool.

I don't want hot pants. Tactically, action splash page, what are burning legs going to do for him? Doesn't even look cool. Always ignite the arms. Comics 101.

I thought fire legs would make him fly, just like when Johnny’s half flamed on below the waist. It makes sense on Super Skrull, but is executed poorly. It needs a more gradual transition.

Dang, look at all the paint work on that guy! I gotta pull mine out of the storage box tonight. (This is my first free Friday night in 9 months and imma spend some time in my figure room!)

Or the CEO whose stated goal was to increase profits by fleecing collectors.
And laying off all the worker bees.

Whenever there's a price hike I just look at how small my want list is and how few figures are coming out that I actually plan to get. Yeah, scraping together $30+ for a Rachel Phoenix isn't ideal, but I'm not getting much else. But I get it, this is a sucky situation for the fans (and the Hasbro employees not sitting in the high castle).

Unfortunately the new tactic appears to be selling you the same figure you bought a few years ago slightly tweaked and a lot of us fall for it. I'm not saying I'm above it but it seems like they're pivoting somewhat to focus even more on A-listers and maybe a deep cut here or there with BAF's going out the window. I'm sure printing to a 1inx1in plastic comic book is more cost effective, and you're guaranteed to get a C-grip hand so they'll claim it's not bare bones accessories.
