I feel like Leatherneck did not adjust to civilian life very well and ends up getting kicked out by his wife and couch-surfing with Gung-Ho and it becomes a very weird journey for one of the most buttoned up Joes as he works security at the bar.

Ah good! I was worried that looked like he was trying to talk down a shooter that's off camera or something. I almost had him not wearing the beret then though... nah, I feel he should. My favorite part of that picture is the professorial elbow pads.
