G.I. Joe Classified Series

I went all in with the Viper set Vipers (all of whom have head cannon identities for me), but I have been thinking of getting a retro one to be another more unique guy too.

Got RnR on Monday. Glad to have him in his classic colors. That extra eye paint isn’t nearly as noticeable in person and isn’t something I would’ve even picked up on if it hadn’t been pointed out.

I’ve got two Vipers on order as well, but I’m hoping those hold more true to the current June 9 date. Don’t need an additional unexpected $50+ charge for some army builders.

Thanks for that. Had a $10 code and was able to use it and save some cash. Still not cancelling my original order though.
 
I just ordered 1987 Children's Palace peg warmer of the year Crystal Ball in his upscaled, 2025 GI Joe Classified form. I can't wait to relive the magic of this beloved character!

Looks great! I'm liking virtually all of the changes here. He kind of puts the old version to shame, IMO. Y'all picking this guy up and how many? I think I'm good with one, he'll be the one I pose while old vipers stands around looking menacing (they're not fun to pose at all).

Now, let's get Alley Viper the same glow-up!
 
Retro Mindbender also has the accentuated “eyeliner” and honestly it’s glorious. He’s an improvement in every way from the original release: the cape especially is MUCH improved, with better material and a looser fit around the arms so it doesn’t get stuck in the shoulder caps.
 
Like I said, I have four of the Viper set Vipers, so I may just get one to be an officer. I have a Crimson Viper serving as the Viper Commander right now. I keep trying to name a Cobra agent Sergeant Fang or Corporal Fang. It's a play on Monty Python's Cardinal Fang from the Spanish Inquisition, and the silliness may be why I keep crossing it out and using something else.
 
I'm doing this one as an officer as well because I overdid it early on with the modern vipers. I'm also gunshy about vipers in general because my epic bad luck with frozen hip joints was most prevalent with the Viper buck.
