Did you need to swap the whole neck or just the head? I got over-enthusiastic about getting Law & Order (which I always do with the animal companion guys) and preordered from two places... still got the second one in the box but wouldn't hate giving Law a partner to work with.

I swapped the head and neck just to be safe. Law's head fit, but was a little loose, so I chose to swap the neck as well to make it easier. The cop's head and neck fit fine on Law's peg in the torso once you heat the neck socket up a little.

Finally got Cover Girl from EB online. It was marked as released and street dated 2 weeks ago when they charged me back then and then nothing.

I'm really happy with her. This is what I would want out of a standard classified Loadout. Alternate portrait. Display options. General weapons and a bespoke accessory or two. Alternate hands.

I love both portraits. I don't think it's intentional but I can see a bit of the Rise of Cobra version in the smile.

I think Classified has been doing a great job this year with their new face prints, and the consistency of how they execute.

One thing is that the Rattler Baroness does come across with a smaller head compared to a lot of new releases. It still looks good on the figure, but I wonder if they were scaling it down to try and make that helmet fit with the hair even though they gave up on it. Random observation.

My local Walmart, for a wonder, showed the Ghost Viper in stock this morning, and I finally had the chance to stop in about an hour ago. They still had three, but they also had Falcon/Quarrel, Lowlight/Spirit, Heavy Duty, the Desert Scorpion and the Firefighter, as well as a few Stingers that have been hanging out the last few weeks. Seeing that much on the shelves was nuts, but very welcome.

I keep wanting to see what the Ghost Viper looks like without the skull printed on his helmet faceplate looks like. The skull could be left on as the leader while the blanks are the underlings, kinda like the Nazghul had less ornamentation on their helmets the lower they were in rank.

The green effects look great. I'm still uncertain whether Crystal Ball is supposed to be more occultic in nature or more like Mysterio in that he creates illusions? My understanding was the Ghost Viper utilizes mostly illusions like Scarecrow to induce fear? Whereas Crystal Ball might be a crackpot mystic no one is sure whether he knows his stuff or not?

I got Budo over the weekend AND I've been playing Ghost of Tsushima for the first time, I'm all in on samurai stuff right now. Probably time to watch the Shogun show too.

There are all kinds of sellers on Aliexpress with them. You can just search by "action figure special effects." The link above is the store I ordered from. From order time to arrival was only about a week. I'm in Los Angeles though, so I imagine it will take a little longer for you.

Also of note, these are knock offs. Not legitimate Bandai product. The Bandai ones can be twice as much or more. I bit expensive for what they are. Also, the whirlwind effect is a bit fragile. A much more delicate plastic. They shipped it in its own coffin of Styrofoam.

There's a cool smoke one I'm thinking of getting next.

Did you have to pay any tariffs or is it covered in the shipping? I haven't ordered from Aliexpress since all that started up.
