G.I. Joe Classified Series

Oh I didn't even think about repainting the extra MASS Diver heads so I can complete a squad of four Legacy Divers until docsilence's post. Tempting!
 
I got two of the MASS divers sets as well. Can use each head. And a pair of divers to flank Torpedo and a couple of Cobra divers to supplement Eels sounds good.

I'm hoping we get some female divers as well. 2pk Lady Jaye with her bare legs. Baroness in full diving suit. Each could come with an extra head with hair flowing and wetsuit head. If they were super generous, each could get a third head. Maybe a redheaded ponytail coming out of a wetsuit head for the Joes. An extra Mara head would be neat, but she wore a blue suit while Baroness wore a red one.
 
Mara should totally be her own figure, and it would really be cool if they could somehow include non-mutated flesh parts for her “There’s No Place Like Springfield” look, although that’s probably a reach.
Aaaaaaactually, it would be cool if Mara came with even MORE mutated parts to swap to make an actual mutant fish girl, like a 2nd stage mutation form.

Right, basically Budo but a fish lady.

A good diver female body could get a ton of use since they can just add vests and such to it to make new characters.
 
Mara is actually a significant want of mine.

Received the AWE Striker, and I'm awe-stricken. This is a solid build of a vehicle, at least before the roll bars. They come on and off easily, I'm assuming to make the insertion and removal of passengers easier. I thought I got jipped on a bunch of parts, but I hadn't pulled out the "foot locker" box of more accessories. One paper bag had the ammo containers, tool kit and gas can, another had the rocket launchers, rockets, heavy machine gun and base mount, antennae, small dash board machine gun, and a third bag had more accessories for Crank Case - visor, two bandannas, binoculars, thermos, BMX helmet. His handgun, knife, and helmet were in his plastic tray. It comes with stickers to customize some animal faces onto the body, but I'm skipping those. The suspension system is pretty bouncy for both the rear and front tires. The front tires lock into steering positions for left, center, and right - something I wish the VAMP did. Not necessarily the locking, but the pivoting left and right at all.
 
Legacy Cop is back up for pre-order at BBTS for $34.99. Too bad you can't order more if you already ordered two before.
 
If anyone is willing to donate it, the khaki cap that comes with Slaughter/Mercer looks great on the non-retro Rock N Roll, making him look closer to his V2 ARAH look.
 
Hey NORM (and any other owners of the AWE Striker). I modified mine to keep the rollbar more firmly attached. There’s a permanently attached low rollbar in the back half. I bought some plastic netting. And used think zip ties to anchor it to that permanent rollbar. Figure it would hold down the top rollbar from accidentally lifting off. Does a pretty good job. And isn’t permanent if I don’t want to keep it. Looks pretty on point too.

Opened my divers. First thought is that the plastic on all Classified divers have been great. And that these guys look sharp. The small details like the inverted-toned webgear, grey piping on red diver's suit, and black forearm shapes on yellow diver are really cool. Yellow guy forgot his subnado at home; he can borrow one from Legacy. These guys more than make up it with a great set of guns.

This mask style is a lot more appealing to me than the chunky Eel mask, so I'd put these guys smack-dab in the middle of my diver ranking. They certainly shine together so I'm thinking a wall-mounted display of them fighting "underwater" would look cool!

Also, would love to see a similar red and equally saturated purple Slice and Dice retros.

This probably sounds stupid, but so many ridiculous things have happened the past few months I'm dreading the trip cos I'm fully, completely "people'd" out. My partner is desperate to get away. I love it there but we have opposite energy demands for traveling, she's energized by it and I need to like, dig deep into my mental reserves to get on a plane. (My whole thing is "love going places, hate GETTING to places.")

Of course now I'm like: why do I not know if the Pulse app will work when you're out of the country? I used to work in cybersecurity, I feel like I should know this.
