G.I. Joe Classified Series

I in every way prefer the other two Beachhead figures but the NF one hasn't left my side in the office since I opened him, he just permanently hangs out on the mouse pad to be posed during meetings. I cannot explain why he's so much fun.

There’s an illustrator out there doing art based on GIJoe card and package art, but translating Transformers designs to military armor, retaining things like helmets and color schemes, rifles, gauntlets. Turning wings into jet packs. They look amazing, and I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t buy them if they made them. At least Optimus Prime and Megatron, that’s always my rule of thumb.
I’m slowing catching up on this thread, and this caught my eye. Any idea who the artist is? I’d love to see some of those designs.

Crisys27 is the guys name in instagram, not sure if he is elsewhere

Agree, some designs like Arcee and Optimus are cool in a "How we thought 2006 would look like in 1985" kinda way, and others like Shockwave and Jetfire look like psychotic prisoners in cosplay built by kindergartners.

Well now. Those are some crazy designs and a surprising number of them work well. I also like the unit/team/specialty designations.

EE...hmm...do I order him and pay the shipping fee, spend the next two hours trying to get up to free shipping with things I want, or add something that's on Backorder that will likely be eventually cancelled so the shipping will be free in the end? Decisions, decisions...

That's why it's great you can add preorder items to an order to push it past the free shipping range on Walmart's site. Once I have the in-stock figure, I just cancel the preorder.

A lot of those are cool. The ones with the more boxy/square TF heads don't work quite as well as helmets (the Aerial Bots for instance), but no doubt some work and a lot of skill went into trying to combine 2 childhood loves.

Psssstttt.... just reiterating my question for those that have both figures; anyone know if Sgt. Slaughter's hands fit Gnawgahyde - in terms of skin color, peg size, and overall proportions? It looks like Bazooka's hands are the right size, but I don't know if Sgt. Slaughter has larger or smaller hands as I don't own a Slaughter yet.
Help a guy out.

Also, I've gotta figure out something to do with Major Bludd. This figure is so fucking cool, but he doesn't feel very 'Cobra' to me. He also doesn't feel like a solo worker. I thought about having him be in charge of BATS, but those have Cobra logos on them so that doesn't really work for me. Right now he's leading my Night Creepers, because Hasbro is an entire company of cowards that won't make my orange-pants Night Creeper Leader; a figure the world -deserves- to have.
