I was thinking the same thing! The sad part is "on sale" may end up being what the retail price is right now
Yeah, I don't even mind reuse in most lines. Legends, sure, it's all naked parts, so tights or flesh, do what you gotta do. Classified, at least it's all military aesthetic and utilitarian, so I don't care if the cargo pants and button downs are the same. That's how it works in real life. What's funny is how much reuse they do get out of these parts on Classified but they mix so much and of course the colors so it really hard to pick some of them apart like the marvel stuff.

I mean... I'm not one to say no thanks in most locations, but at the beach there's such a high chance of sand getting in the wrong places.I do love a good Beach Head
All of this. Can't wait to see what the Canadian price will be with the new jump. A $3US increase probably means we'll go from $36Cdn for a standard figure to $40Cdn now. So with tax I'll be looking at $45Cdn a figure...........Though I also won't be surprised if it is more.
I think I'll have to really just buckle down on Classified because that is my top line. Everything else will probably get downgraded to only the most desired items which won't be much since I have all but left SW (any scale), TFs and MOTU. So that leaves ML which will probably get cut back even more than it already has. Which probably makes sense since I have a lot of what I really want.
More likely I'll probably be okay with skipping updates to existing figures unless they are vastly superior to the older release. As well, like Ru1977 posted, I'll probably hold off on buying most items outside of exclusives and "extreme" must haves unless on sale. The sad part is "on sale" may end up being what the retail price is right now. Also my limited preordering will probably become almost non-existent.
I can't wait to see what TRU tries to sell 6" figures for after this increase. They already charge $45Cdn, which with tax is almost $51Cdn. I won't be surprised if they go to $50Cdn plus tax. Not a chance I would pay almost $60 for a single "regular" 6" Hasbro figure.
It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.I mean... I'm not one to say no thanks in most locations, but at the beach there's such a a high chance of sand getting in the wrong places.
Truest words he ever spoke. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
Hasbro as a whole. The Doom figure that went up today is apparently the first Hasbro figure with the new price. The sets seem unaffected, and deluxe figures aren't known yet, just regular single figures for sure so far.Is it just Classified or Hasbro as a whole?
And Canadian lol, since my Toys R Us closed down and I haven't been to one, I totally forgot they were asking $10 more than eb even before my 15% off.
Was not aware his career went beyond the stolen valor incident. Not familiar with Vigilante or it's premise, but just in basic description it sounds like it could be a lot of stuff Batman is already dealing with (in his own corporation or others) or like it could quickly devolve into a Captain Planet-esque book where the villains get stale after a while. I'm sure the writer would make it interesting for a few issues at least provided it's given the right type of villain, plus I remember the dialogue for Team Achilles was pretty good as well.I wasn't following comics at the time of his career tanking, but reading up on how DC was gun shy about his pitch for making Vigilante about taking down corporate criminals instead of street criminals definitely feels like righting a wrong with a wrong (yeah, the guy lied about his military service and deserved to be raked over the coals for it, but also man if being afraid to make corporate scumbags the bad guys isn't the most bootlicking thing an editorial leadership team can do...)
I'm sure a lot of you don't do TikTok, but this is what you're looking for. If needed I'll save the clips and upload them. It's a quick five part series. Now I need stories of Roger, the Cobra intern.
