G.I. Joe Classified Series

Speaking of the Night Force Quick Kick, I chuckled at the screen of his little tablet on his chest.

It says "Fudgee Interactive".

Clever.
Someone on the tech side programmed that in just to mess with him. He's in the middle of an op, opens his screen, sees that, and is like 'Mainframe, you *sshole..."

Team Achilles was great. It's too bad the author had real life issues tank his career and it didn't finish. I thought the arc of a team of humans slowly becoming a team of Metas was compelling. CP Smith's art was very different from Portacio, but equally great.

I wasn't following comics at the time of his career tanking, but reading up on how DC was gun shy about his pitch for making Vigilante about taking down corporate criminals instead of street criminals definitely feels like righting a wrong with a wrong (yeah, the guy lied about his military service and deserved to be raked over the coals for it, but also man if being afraid to make corporate scumbags the bad guys isn't the most bootlicking thing an editorial leadership team can do...)

I forgot what the Fudgee thing was with Quick Kick and... man his introduction in the cartoon is even weirder than the comic. He's a fun character from a fan perspective, but no wonder Hama hated him.

I never liked Quick Kick because I have this thing about people that don't wear shoes.
Ditto. Thats why I gave him some kicks courtesy of super discount Starting Lineup

With how many people have said they're probably going to skip the two-pack because they don't want Beach, I'm wondering if we'll see it on good clearance at some point in the near future.

But the sheathe. Mine doesn't even peg in (mold degredation?). Just sits there and then flies off even when the figure is unattended. There has to be a better sheathe solution.
Drives me nuts, too. You can't do an ab crunch either or the vest will pop the sheath out his back. Somehow, in a line where most figures can successfully carry all their gear, v4 Snake Eyes went 0 for 2, with the worst gun sheath in the entire line and a scabbard that won't stay in his back. I'm tempted to cut all that black section out the back of his vest and see if tucking the sheath underneath the vest works better.

I got the two-pack for my birthday (well, I got a Walmart gift card, and found the two-pack lol), and I put it on Quick Kick, and call him "Ogre" (鬼) Masaru Ito, QK's brother (because the M. Ito tag on the vest lolol), and I just call BH "Sneak Peek."

Oh, I wonder if the oni mask would fit on any of the generics. I should try that on a Steel Brigade figure or something.

Opened Snake Eyes and bear.

Might be a miss for me. I already knew I had no need or nostalgia for Snake Eyes, but the bear is kind of a disappointment. I find it very slender like an otter. And while that's fine, it's really the undercarriage and how the arms and legs look in a standing pose that just kill it for me.

Gonna have to sit with this one

You should send your disappointing bear to me for proper disposal. I'll give you a fair rate, too. Here at "Tenime's Plastic Polar Bear Plant."
