I was huge into WildCATs and the related titles - Gen13, Stormwatch, the Authority. It definitely evolved way past the X-Men blue team archetype. Once Alan Moore got his hands on them, it was stellar. The Joe Casey years were brilliant.

Yeah, those three were my jam. Loved that the Aliens crossover was canon and a launchpad for a new direction.

I lost interest in Gen13 when Campbell left. I tried with Rio's "Campbell-lite," but I just couldn't keep going.

I LOVED when Adam Warren picked it up, but then quickly lost interest when he stopped doing interiors.

I got absolutely shredded on by some dude on Facebook yesterday because I tried to demonstrate that Ghost Viper has a bunch of new parts.
Am I crazy?
Like this guy was AGGRESSIVE.
I circled all the parts I think are new.

Where is the backpack previously from? I'm assuming its a figure I didn't pick up.

Nah, he went part by part and was like “THIS is reuse, THIS is reuse!!” He contended that there was zero new going on with the figure.
Honestly it was weird: I posted the picture and he accused me of cyber-bullying him. I told him I was just trying to be helpful and he was like “SEE?! More cyber-bullying!!!” Like damn. Also I guess he is a “well known collector” who has been in a “collecting documentary”, and boy oh boy was I somehow incredibly offensive.
Very weird interaction.
