G.I. Joe Classified Series

Sonny Landham lived in the town I went to college at. I can see if anyone I know has intel on his next of kin.

NECA had a hell of a time even making the couple Predator figures that they did
That would be awesome, but at this point I would be fine with someone who kinda expresses the same idea as his look in Predator. (Like the Pursuit of Cobra figure from years ago.)

And really... having the whole team would be amazing, but if they only ever did someone who kinda looked like Sonny Landham, I would be beside myself about that figure.

While Hasbro style versions of the Predator team are a fun thing to dream about, I think Classified version of the Pursuit of Cobra Predator homage figures would be fantastic. Jungle Duke and Jungle Spirit were great designs. I'd love Classified versions of them.

Count me in as not wanting any more celebrity crossover Joe figures. Hell, I don't even want a Fridge Perry figure. I loved Sgt Slaughter in the line, as he just worked with the brand for some almost inexplicable reason.

Divers set arrived and I was not prepared!

These guys have MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY.

(The alt heads are also cool but the default heads are BADASS)

I would absolutely buy the full team for the Predator movie. I'd even grab a Danny Glover, Adrian Brody, and Amber Midthunder. Also, Bill Paxton. Any Bill Paxton.

But I'd want an actual Yautja to go with them and I don't think Hasbro would be allowed. And I don't like Neca. Never have. And their Yautja figures apparently break super easy, and are a little too tall. Although, I bet the height can be fudged since they are aliens and they are taller then most people anyway.

Then you're missing out. IMO

If it's the properties they have that would be one thing, but just going off of old concerns from over a decade ago (their figures breaking easily: the plastic quality has improved quite a lot) as a reason for not buying anything is severely limiting yourself.

I stopped at a local Target today and found a peg of the firefighters, so I grabbed 2 more to complete a squad of 6. May still grab 1 more and use an unmasked head for a chief, but as of now, I am happy with 3 sporting each head sculpt.

My most brittle Neca Predator is still sturdier than McFarlane's old movie maniacs figures, and that was enough for me when I was collecting neca

Not to sell anyone on MORE toys, but ditto on NECA. I held the "these things break like glass" prejudice until this year, got one xenomorph, was VERY happy, got another xenomorph, got one yautja, was VERY VERY impressed (the ultimate line specifically), and ended up with four predators almost without meaning to. They're more sturdy and play-with-able than the line used to be, and man they look great fighting Classified figures which was the whole reason I got them in the first place. If you're into Predator in general, 10/10 would recommend picking just one up for fun if you can. Both ultimate city and jungle are great.

(I don't think I'll be getting more yautja - I probably bought one more than I should have, but they're way better than I expected.)

I think I've said before but I've had several Neca figures fall from high shelves onto tile floor and come out unscathed. Meanwhile my MOTU Origins in the other room have fallen on the carpet and broken two different times.

I skipped the condiment divers pack... but, those pictures are changing my mind... I don't know how many water based diver figures I need in my collection, but there's no denying how sharp they look.

The divers set is too generic for me, I will be skipping it. I don’t need the Mass Device elements.

I had a NECA Predator break on me, but it was a known issue because of a factory plastic error and they were actively soliciting people to request replacements at that time. This was like fifteen years ago. NECA's the main company in my collection, and I've had no further issues. They may not live up to the standards of the hardcore articulation folks, but no one does what they do better right now.

And since I did that little off-topic bit, might I stray just another second for lack of a better place to post this? I found out about this Geoff Johns comic called Rook: Exodus the other day, and the very first thing I thought of was Classified and its animal two packs:
