So, again because of bubble gum head, I couldn't resist grabbing Breaker and I'm having a lot of fun posing him. The webgear (I don't have Grunt) works really nicely with the butterfly joints. It's just a snazzy figure. I do have two small nitpicks, both related to the webgear, though:

1.) Why the knife? I get the desire to have a knife there, but for this specific design it puts the handle of the knife over the flip-down phone/computer thing. Not a huge deal, but it strikes me as a bit weird (again, nitpick more than major complaint).
2.) The flip-down thingie's hinge is not particularly tight, so it does like to fall open when moving him around. That's a bit annoying.

But yeah, for a character/figure I would have completely turned my nose up at if it was missing the alternate head, I'm digging him quite a lot.

The bubble gum head is also what made me pick him up. He’s just kinda generic without it.

Oh, it's great. So far it seems to pretty easily be the one that allows the most ROM. I've currently got Breaker hitting a two-handed pistol pose that I don't think I even was able to get the Action Diver into with his webgear.
I just wish the flip-down part had a tighter hinge.

I feel like my desire to own the polar bear set is entirely contingent on what happens with the SnowCat. That vehicle and all its attendant accessories/figures not happening is going to put a real damper on my ideas for a great snow-themed display.

There's images of Crystal Ball being found in American Walmarts... this week might be a good time to check if you have a "super" Walmart or whatever they deem worthy of actually stocking shelves.
 
I checked today and I didn't see him, but I'll keep an eye out. I try not to go to Walmart if I can help it anymore lol.

Hard to say. Near me there's two kinds of Walmarts: those who stock MOTU and Classified, and those that stock neither. I have to drive 30 minutes each way to the closest store that stocks these lines. That's the store I'd personally hit if I were looking for Crystal Ball. Your best bet IMO is to check Walmart's website for MOTU Masterverse Vintage Faker and see if a store nearby has it. If they stock that, I'd bet they will stock Joes, too.
 
I would cancel my Amazon order and add the bear to my BBTS PoL, but I JUST had to ship it yesterday...

The temptation to cancel my Pulse SE for Amazon right now... Only this line gets me THIS impatient.
 
I wish they'd make some curved cut-outs in the webgear so SE can actually use his butterfly joints, but damned if I'm still not REALLY looking forward to that figure. Don't expect to see it before the October release date here in Canada, though. Doesn't seem like we're getting anything early these days.

Absolutely the first thing I noticed and killed my buzz. Hate the way the black lower layer of clothing is molded onto the vest and not the body sculpt. Maybe some gear swapping or modding is in order!

My thought as well. I'm wondering if the cut-outs can be done without damaging anything or making it look stupid. At near 40 bucks each here, it's a tough ask to start modding anything willy-nilly.
