G.I. Joe Classified Series

That Baroness looks so fun. Hopefully they do her up in all-black for a new release. Low-key upset that I backed the Dragonfly and those figures looked like junk, and then the Rattler figures look good again. Starting to feel jaded about Haslabs. This year has been slow for releases and having the equivalent of a full wave worth of figures being Haslab exclusives is annoying.

I'm now looking at classified figure to plan customs for the HISS Driver (more likely the tactician) and Wild Weasel. Not set on matching the actual figures but close enough. Of course, if the parts to do a HISS guy exceed $50, I may as well just get the actual figure.

I would love to know what went wrong with the heads on the Dragonfly figures because they have not repeated that weird soft-looking flesh tone thing anywhere else. Bad spot to experiment with materials. I don't hate on them as much as others, but I'm really hoping they hurry up with mainline releases of Rip Cord and Crazylegs. (There others, too, but those two gents are particularly weird looking. Bill's shades and mustache help hide the material a bit.)

Damn, I didn't know this. I still haven't opened my Dragonfly yet due to space. I guess when I do it's going to be a little disappointing.

Honestly, I don't HATE them, they just have a different look. Closer to the plastic Hasbro used for those Selfie Series figures. I've stopped even noticing it on Bill and Glenda but the other two boys I sometimes look at like "you guys feeling okay? You look a lil flushed"

I know Retro skews more cartoon style at times, but maybe a retro Wild Weasel could be like his first appearance in the comic:

More blue than red.

Yeah I had strong feelings of "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" regarding the Haslabs after last year. I wasn't going to buy a Haslab for the figures again. Anyways, I took out my disappointment on the Haslab situation by cancelling a bunch of pre-orders I was on the fence about like Hawk, armor CC, Polar Bear set, and v4 Snake Eyes.

Would love to see a Retro Firefly while we're at it. The last release was basically Retro but it sold out way too fast and became stupidly difficult to buy (why is this ever a thing with popular characters?). A hint of blue like this panel would be enough to differentiate it for a rerelease.

I’m actually trying to avoid looking at photos of the Rattler Baroness so that I don’t get jealous and try to get one on its own.

Sigh. Still waiting for either of my two separate Rattler orders to ship.
I'm such a nice guy that I'll even take the -second- one to arrive. You can have the first one.
Some people use words like hero, but I'd really never describe myself like that.

Now I've been looking at the gunner so much I wouldn't mind him, but he may be easier to get than Weasel? Also is the gunner the first cobra with a mask over his face but exposed hair?
