I wanna say you've put too much thought into this but you have out the exact right amount!!! It's difficult to pick a favorite, but may be between G'Day and Charlie Udder.

I was just shooting from the hip. I cut myself off at Duke and Duchess because I felt like ragging on Duke is our favorite theme in this thread.

Was wondering if Charlie Udder was too niche a joke.
 
Charlie Udder MAY be, but I was crazy about Deadwood so I can't say.

And I totally get that. It was just enough Duke ragging. Sometimes a taste is plenty.

Animal Force feels like something that would have happened in the early 90s, but would have been the best part of the early 90s Joe line.

Now think of the Tiger Force version of Barbecue and his Dalmatian.

Maybe it's because I spent an hour last night trying to find a spare unmasked head that fit on Barbecue's neck peg and failing, but now I want a vintage Barbecue release, with unmasked head a la Blowtorch, with a dalmatian. C'mon, Classified, you have the technology, you can do it

I envy that. I'm putting Deadwood on my rewatch list so I can reach that level. Also I've decided if Charlie Udder is too niche it doesn't matter..that may make it an even more perfect joke.

That is, like, the *one* thing from Rise of Cobra I want.
Also: now is a good time to say that what I *really* want from those movies are the “concept design” figures that didn’t make it in the movies and are MUCH cooler than the movies themselves. The absolutely awesome “fascist field dress” Destro with the tie and high collar and riding boots is the one that most comes to mind, but there are a bunch of them that were made into figures but didn’t make it to the movies (the Cobra Trooper with the full-face mask, the more stripped-down Snake-Eyes with the less-detailed mask) that were really cool.

Am I crazy saying that I can see Eccleston very clearly in that fascist field dress Destro? That is a great redesign, though I'll always be a classic "Spritz out, t*ts out" Destro purist.
 
@docsilence yeah, those are all great choices. If I can't get IG Destro, that would be an alternative I'd be happy with. Definitely see Eccleston in there. I never liked sexy Destro as a kid and I guess I'm still of that mind. Fascista all the way for me. And that Snakes would be cool in lieu of a proper Retaliation version. And lastly, big fat yes on that Cobra trooper and all the repaints it yields.
 
There really are a shocking number of visible pectorals on the Cobra side of things when you look at it at a macro level. Destro definitely waxes his mask and his chest.

(But yeah, Iron Grenadier Destro feels like a no brainer at this point. Feels like forever since we got a new variant of him. I need to screw around with some pics of profit director Destro at some point, that figure is so dumb but in the best ways)
