Ah man, envyyyyyyyyyy.

If I could only get one Cobra driver... I'm glad it was Copperhead. But I would like a HISS Driver and Wild Weasel. I'm glad they moved on from the weird plastic though.

I hope they re-release Wild Weasel on a Retro card. He's so well done it feels cruel to leave him behind a paywall with the Haslab. Baroness is gorgeous .Even the gunner is great - exact same body as WW, but both heads are worth using. I'm trying to figure out if I can yank a head off a viper or trooper and pop the other head on a spare.
 
Yeah I admit I'm really Cobra biased and think this and the Hiss are loaded with great figures I would love to have. Though I'd actually take all the dragonfly figures. Ugh.
 
@vicious JHernandez gave up video reviewing?? That’s a shame. But shows how much I even pay attention. He always had a great style to his presentation.

@docsilence I use Kamakura’s unmasked head for Barbecue. Only ginger head I could think of, though I might have gone blonde too.

I'm not saying I'm a good reviewer (Robo is absolutely the GOAT, and just my favorite YouTuber in general), but I keep seeing people say "there are no good Classified reviewers"...would people want me to do Classified? 🥺

I try to only do, like, more niche stuff, because I know better people (Robo) with better quality video who get things earlier (Prime vs Prime, though I fucking hate him, so I stopped watching a long time ago) are already doing the "main lines" like Marvel Legends, Black Series, Transformers. I assumed G.I. Joe was the same. But like I said, I keep seeing complaints that "everyone" sucks lol.

I'm just not a completist (though I do get most), and I've not been able to afford a HasLab yet.

And until I can get back to earning what I was at my last job, I can't even keep current with shit. (I can't enjoy the newest wave like everyone else right now.) 😰

I would say continue doing what you're doing, even if it's niche. There's always a market for niche, even if it's smaller. Unless you're trying to monetize this, in which case, do what the masses do. If there's a formula that gets you more views and likes and subscribers, follow that, as long as your content is stuff you genuinely enjoy. Don't do shit that you're not passionate about, because people who ARE passionate about it can tell.

And yeah, I LOVE Classified. Classified & Hammond have been my top 2 collections for the last couple years. If I don't love it, I ain't buyin' it in the first place. I just didn't want to waste time being a needle in a haystack, when it could be better spent on the things that don't get the attention.

Monetization would be nice at some point, but I'll never get there in the first place unless I can stand out with whatever I do. Memberships aren't available until 500 subs (and I can't even get anyone to sub to my Patreon lol), and ads aren't available until 1000; I have 168, last I checked lol.

And no, I'm not doing it for fame (I like my privacy too much lol) or fortune (I'd just like to not struggle or worry any more).

If I didn't like doing it, I am far too ADHD & chronic-pain-suffering to force myself.
 
I made some returns and found myself with an $80 Target store credit so I picked up Blowtorch.

Just another example of this line cranking out one winner of a figure after another. Classified toned down his original look color wise and it really works. His two piece helmet fits together very will, he looks good with it on all the way, half way, or without it. He looks awesome holding his flame thrower. I want to come up with some sort of clever display option with him, Barbecue, and Torch.

I love that just about every character in this line has at least one side arm. Does everyone else just put it in their holster immediately and forget about it? Still a great thing to have.
 
With Heavy Duty, I feel we have someone who looks Terry Crewsesque, then I was wondering if they could do some other people from Expendables or something. And why not some fellas from Predator? Then I thought of Bruce Willis, and hey, he was in one of the movies! Let's have some people from the movies. I still think the Retaliation costume was the best movie version of Snake Eyes, and I've already expressed my interest in a Retaliation figure of Jinx. But I'd also go for Lady Jaye and Firefly. Cobra Commander isn't too bad either... eh, let's just do a whole line.
 
Bruce Willis is the only actual actor likeness I’d want from those films (oh wait and Ray Stevenson as an alt-head for Firefly), but yeah I’d be up for several of the Retaliation costumes to show up in Classified. I love leather-edgelord Cobra Commander, Snake-Eyes is a great design, the Cobra “Combat Ninja” Troops are a much-requested 3 3/4 line upscale request, Jinx is cool, thickboi crustpunk Firefly is epic, Red Ninjas and Storm Shadow would be cool too.

Just for Grodd’s sake: no Channing Tatum.
