G.I. Joe Classified Series

I think the only character I'm waiting for is Flash. I also really want a Tollbooth, but that seems like a real longshot.

Once that's checked off, I just sit back and wait for them to start a 6" MASK line.

Just a FYI, tomorrow's pre-orders will be the Retro B.A.T., Retro Greenshirt, Legacy Collection Police Officer and Mercer/Slaughter 2-Pack. I still can't say with 100% certainty but I suspect the AWE Striker will go up as a Pulse Exclusive as well.

Dude... I will pre-order at least 4 Green Shirts... I am also considering 4 cops to start. Mercer and Slaughter will also, of course be mine.

Mercer's one of those figure I wish was shipping immediately. The retro stuff looks great but definitely more "get here when they get here" anticipation for the BAT and greenshirts.

I can't believe I'm considering spending $50+ to buy figures specifically for Daredevil or Punisher to beat the bag out of. Literally the only time I can think of with action figures where I might rage buy figures. It feels like buying a voodoo doll in a movie.

There's just something about having two of an army builder that makes them special. Having said that, display-wise, three is kind of the sweet spot. Although, four in a squad seems realistic. You probably want a backup in case one breaks, so five is a good option. Squads of six aren't that uncommon, either, ya know?

Real talk: This was my logic with the original Cobra Island Troopers and Vipers. And Stormtroopers when Black Series redid them.

But over the years I realize I don't do over the top photoshoots and they just take up shelf space. It felt gross cutting them down to just two, and even now only having two Retro Vipers makes me twitchy and I keep them quick loaded on Amazon. I sold off every other Cobra soldier I owned over the years and just kept the two Retro Vipers and four Retro Troopers. And I have this internal battle about dumping the troopers for two more Vipers and calling it a day.

Anytime I see D Amazing or some Instagram shoot, I'm like "oh yeah, I should get more", and then I just do something else until it passes.

Yeah, I've also had to learn to be okay with looking at other peoples' toy photography and just being okay with that. I don't have the talent or the space to do any of that myself, and collecting the number of mook figures guys like D own just takes up way too much money and space.

Really disappointed in that police rain poncho. Hasbro’s soft goods are just terrible. Seeing what Mezco or the Four Horsemen can do in this scale just makes them that much worse. But the biggest gripe I have is that it’s the complete wrong type of material. That’s nowhere close to anything a real poncho would be made out of. Certainly not even water proof. I’d had rather had a plastic one that hindered articulation than that thing.

Other than that, these all look amazing!
