Okay, I need to know - which one is crotch rocket Duke? I don't remember that one.

As hideous as those old designs were, I truly think the Classified team could make damned near anything cool if they give it a shot. Bring on the ugly late-stage ARAH costumes!
 
I was just longing for a Crimson Guard Immortal too heh.

I also had an all black Uzi squirt gun, BECAUSE of Snake Eyes of course. It had actual magazines to fill with water but you couldn't just slap it in, you had to line the hole up just right the the tube inside the grip. But I still loved it.

There was probably no winning with whichever choice of the two "main" looks for Wild Bill they used in the Haslab. Maybe the cavalry look would have been the best choice. I see a bunch of people like that look the most, but I think it would have been the least objectionable to collectors as a look behind a "paywall" of the Haslab.

I firmly agree with this. I'm ready for them to make me take back ever sneer I had in the 80s and 90s.

Funny, I bet that would've made some people thrilled and I would've been like "welp, I hope they release a retro Wild Bill REALLY SOON." :) But as you say, there was no winning there. Maybe if they'd done a "Night Force" style Bill so they could triple-dip on that sculpt.

Meanwhile Snake-Eyes and Scarlett are just Ninja Forcing away in the dojo while Duke quivers in agony outside and tries not to cry from the pain in his thighs.

Oh yeah. We need Ninja Force Scarlett too.

NF Snake-Eyes is edging toward my Top 3, actually. I think they’d absolutely crush that design.
But we at least gotta get:
-Night Creeper! He’s probably mostly or all the way “done” with existing parts.
-Zartan!!!! Oh man they just gotta give us crazy neon orange mohawk Zartan!!
-T’jbang!!! His name is “sha-BANG!” Do you need to know anything else? Also he fights evil in jeans and a yellow crop top. Hell yeah.
 
Maybe a wave with Zartan, Night Creeper (they already have the head!), t'jbang, and maybe Dojo or someone? Then a double set with Snake Eyes and Scarlett.
 
For the record... Snake-Eyes definitely does not use a falchion.

But still... he is a total badass that uses weird weapons mostly because he can and rule-of-cool. And also he is objectively the coolest Joe character.

I unironically love T'jbang - it's one of the few vintage toys I still have in my collection. I would love a faithful remake of that in Classified.
And yeah, Ninja Force Snake-Eyes is actually a great design only inhibited by making it one of the worst TOYS in the entire Joe line by abandoning the standard construction for those stupid T-hips. I would love that design in Classified. Throw it in a two-pack with Ninja Scarlett. That was a great storyline in the comics.

Serious question: what would you classify his v2/iconic blade as, then? I haven’t found anything it matches closer than a falchion. Some of the falchion pictures I’ve found appear to be pretty dead-on, but they could certainly be mislabeled and I’m no sword-scholar. I know he is frequently accessorized with other types of blades, however, including the general “ninja swords” of various types and whatever that double-edged claw-pommeled thing v3 had was . . .

And I cannot stress how much I think the Ninja Force Snake-Eyes design is amazing and probably the most underserved design of any main ARAH character. It’s NEVER gotten a good figure representation. Not once. And it so deserves it!! That spooky Batman-eyed faceplate alone is worth the price of admission.
