Ohhh that occurred to me as well . . . and I’m sure we’ll get an official Classified version of that Gung-Ho soon enough. If they’ve got parts for an easy layup, they will (and should!) use it.
 
Got the first quiet weekend I've had in months and thinking I'm overdue to do some quality Joes photos using a proper backdrop, but now I'm overwhelmed by who to shoot and which backdrops to use. (Also fighting a temptation to have a bunch of Cobra troopers getting picked off by a xenomorph in a space station backdrop.)

Took spring break off with the family, came back to a new board and new reveals from Classified. Not overly enthused about another Bludd... but the rest look great and i am excited to get all of them Monkey Wrench looks great and that armored Cobra Commander came out nice. Really liking the update Slaughter more than I expected to.

Got notice from Wal Mart that Crystal Ball was shipping soon so thats fun.
 
Hell yeah. April 10th for Crystal Ball, hopefully. For the longest time I forgot I had Crystal Ball as a kid; loose with no accessories, and admittedly, never much cared for the guy. Always thought he was some weird boring vampire. But the new version looks great. One of the most interesting accessory loadouts in the whole series. I thought this guy was going to be a Deluxe release, coming with an extra hand, extra head, and everything else.

LOL at these notes on the Fandom wiki:
  • Crystal Ball is almost universally considered the most disliked figure. Fans hate this guy.
  • Was the "pegwarmer" of the 1987 assortment, to the extent that he was still on some store shelves as late as 1990.
Sure seems like the Classified team wanted to change our minds on him. Now, let's see a redo of PoC's biggest shelf-warmer, ironically, Arctic Destro.
 
It wouldn't be the first time a former pegwarmer became valuable and highly sought after. ML wave 1 Toad and Black Series Slave Leia come to mind.
 
Awww I always loved Crystal Ball. I was only 9 when he debuted but I knew the Stephen King connection and I loved the “seventh son of a seventh son, maybe he has power maybe he doesn’t” angle. I definitely chose him on purpose and loved him.
This new version, though?? Daaaaamn. So far up my alley it lives in my house. I’ve got one hell of a headcanon cooking for the mysterious Richard King.
 
I am legitimately sad that v4 Snake Eyes and Armored CC are just at render-reveal stage right now. I want those two figures so badly.

And where's my V3 Storm Shadow apology figure, Hasbro? Where?
 
We’ll see full reveals of Snake-Eyes and BA CoCo soon enough. Word is they, along with Bludd and Monkeywrench and the CLAW, are up for preorder in a couple weeks.
And yes, I’m having a hard time waiting as well! They both look absolutely fantastic. I really dig the updates on CoCo and how they have made the armor more imposing and made the helmet look even more like an armored expression of his hood.
