I actually intentionally left Baroness off the list to avoid triggering angry gifs from Ru

She's a great figure and they'd be damned fools to not release her in blue and yellow ASAP. Arguably their best female figure so far.
I guess the retro line IS more cartoonish, but I didn't notice it as much with Flint and Cover Girl because I thought the first version of Flint, while a GREAT face sculpt, was also over the top in a different way, and that first Cover Girl is... interesting. I didn't have the hate for it so many other people did but the youthful look/bigger features (no, not a euphemism, I really do mean bigger eyes and a broader face) in the retro version is a bit more cartoonish.
I gotta admit, I regretted, financially, the Haslabs I got so far, and I stressed the F*CK out out of where I'd put them, but of all the stuff I've crowdfunded, those packages are the bet bang for the buck I've gotten from a crowdfunded action figure-related set. I thought I might sell stuff off but I have the Dragonfly and Rattler side by side in my dingy little art studio/workout space/board game room of SHAME in the basement and it's hard to not stop and admire them whenever I'm down there. The HISS less so but only because moving the HISS is a PROJECT. It's heavy and finicky where the two aerial vehicles can be picked up and handled easily. I am absolutely having buyer's remorse about the SnowCAT but I suspect I'll have the same reaction, regret turning to just not being able to NOT play with it. (I backed the cat because I thought the economy might tank so bad in the next 12 months we may not see another successful Haslab, too.)
