G.I. Joe Classified Series

Is swapping the necks with the heads an option?
It typically is, but there was something that stopped me from doing so with Sgt Slaughters. I don't recall specifics, and can't check out both til I get home from work.

Bah, EE been getting a lot of stuff early. I really don't love ordering from them, even if it's in stock, because it takes a week to process, then a week, sometimes two, to ship from California to NJ. By the time the package gets here, I could have gotten the same stuff from the other retailers. I just gotta exhibit more patience and less envy.

That was my first solution when the head wouldn't fit without heat, but it was very giraffe-like, lol.

As is, it looks great, I just gotta keep him facing the front of the shelf lol.

Nope, all BF 2000. Dee-Jay and the Pulverizer behind them both came out in '89. Ostensibly the Pulverizer was DJ's vehicle, but the box art had Recoil driving it.
Oh yeah! Totally forgot about him. He looks a lot like a Corps figure I remember having (although I'm sure if I looked it up he's actually totally different).

Crap, if EE is processing the new wave I wonder if Amazon or Pulse will get theirs first. I never preorder in two places to see who ships soonest, but with that Amazon screwup saying they were shipping in like, August 2026 I put in an extra order with Pulse just in case. I should cancel one or the other of those. Of course both are at the old price, but at least Amazon has the price guarantee thing.

I strictly meant more in the toy sense. Star Wars fans are on another level of 'these specific things I've chosen are the good things and all other things are bad things and I will not explain why to anyone's satisfaction.'
Shots fired but I think Transformers fans are the most obnoxious. God forbid you like something that isn't the most faithful design to G1. Combiner Wars was great but panned by fans for having battle damage paint apps. Whatever, enjoy your cheaply-made G1 remakes every three years. I see @TENIME ranted about it already!

TFW2005 has a special thread for "Unpopular Opinions". You know it's bad when you have to segregate opinions.

Back to Joes though, I do appreciate that no one here really gets into it or is rude about their opinion. Of course the overall vibe is "buy whatever you want" but it's fun to talk about what we like or dislike. Otherwise...might as well shut the place down!

Of course, but seems like at least most of us have been turned around on a character or two by Classified. I have several I never ever would have thought I'd want when I started this line, but Classified is just awesome. And another thing that is amazing is when someone talks about a new figure and it reveals a personal connection they had as a kid, which totally colors my opinion of that figure as well.

Classified does have the benefit of just being really good at what they do. Even characters a lot of us have no interest in are made with such a consistent high quality that it's not hard to be like... not my favorite, still a very good figure.

Oh yeah?
You clearly missed the They Live-style alley fight the other day.

Someone said mean things about Ice Cream Soldier.

Dirty bastard.

This thread has been great for opening my mind up to appreciating characters in ways I hadn't considered.

And Classified makes it difficult to dislike anything, they're all so good! Even the stuff I'm not into, like the weird movie characters, look cool and I'd own them if they were free, lol.

My Top 3 most wanted in Classified:
V6 Cobra Commander
Headhunter Stormtrooper
30th Zombie Viper

Maybe if we post our lists every few weeks they will magically be made!
