G.I. Joe Classified Series

Got a couple Ghost Vipers just because they look cool. These didn't exist in previous Joe lore correct?

Don't know anything about Pythona. Why all the sea creature accessories if she's supposed to be snake-based? Sea krait maybe? I like the eels a lot, not enough to buy her though. Not gonna comment on her sticky clam accessory.

I’d honestly be super-satisfied with technicolor ninja commandos fighting zombies and Lovecraftian abominations and such. Oh and supervillains, lots of supervillains.

Also: Ghost-Viper file card canonically confirms the supernatural in the Joeniverse!!!

Aww yeah, that's the good stuff. So now we need Steel Corps ghostbuster to take the vipers down!
 
Just cracked open the AWE Striker. They really love to go nuts with the vehicles, huh? Love the level of detail on this. I appreciate that they actually improved on previous vehicles by putting pegs in to hold ammo cases and other details in place better. I'm struggling a bit to get Crankcase in there - feels a little tight with the low roof, but maybe it's just me? Once he's in there he looks great but just a bit of work.

A first for me with Joes - my Crankcase's waist is too loose? Every other Classified has been too tight around the waist but I can actually see inside Crankcase's guts here. He's still functional and looks amazing, but just a little wobbly in the middle. (Any ideas for how to fix that? I think he's probably fine as is, but kinda want to fix him a bit.)

Cause Cobra La is an ancient civilization under the Arctic, so it has all that cool old layer of earth seafloor stuff.

The animal theming of Cobra-La is very weird, largely because they're going for a Lovecraftian vibe but with the idea that Cobra-La is basically Atlantis, but with super weird gene-editing biotechnology. So they're nominally snake themed, but every member of Cobra-La is sort of an amalgam of snake, sea, and land creatures. Nemesis Enforcer has fantasy bat wings for no specific reason other than "looks cool".

All you need to know about Pythona is in the first 5 minutes of the original GI Joe animated movie where she breaks into Cobra high command and just totally obliterates their security just to show off how much of a baddy she is (that movie is basically the sum total of my GI Joe lore knowledge).

I do appreciate how Pythona's accessories include basically every item she uses to wreck Cobra high command int hat opening number of the animated movie. For years I barely remembered any of that movie *except* that sequence because it was just so badass.
