Naw, agreed! There's plenty of room for all these things. Original RAH, comic figures from all the publishers, cartoon, reimaginings, and totally new characters. I want!
 
I recently said I got Darklon in the mail with some other figures. Messing around with him, and his accessories.......this figure kind of kicks ass. I never had Darklon as a kid, or the vehicle he came with. So, even though I knew he was from the ARAH line and I wanted the Classified figure of him, I just really didn't have expectations.

But an Iron Grenadier who is a distant cousin of the Destro Clan with a big ass broad sword and some guns.......Yeah, that'll work. And he just looks pretty menacing too. I had no expectations, but I really like this figure a lot.


It gets a perfect 5 out of 5 Camels from Super Camel.

Honestly, I do think 3 completely new and unique creations just for Classified is not a bad amount considering just how many beloved characters/costumes haven't even been hinted at yet. I don't mind new stuff at all (I think it's the only way a brand really survives), but it's a tightrope for sure. I'd argue that most people collecting Classified are orders of magnitude more interested in remakes of their favorites than brand new figures.

Honestly, I'm interested in seeing what they could come up with for all the different factions and sub-teams and such. I'm sure they have some great ideas. But if you made me choose between some brand new astronaut guy and Cesspool, I'm choosing Cesspool every time, ya' know?

Talking about new characters; I think it would be interesting to see a rebirth of the -idea- of something like Extreme; grow the brand beyond the original characters by replacing them. The original Cobra Commander has been dead for years. The original Joe team are mostly retired or aged out of active service. But Cobra's infrastructure never really went away and someone is taking control again. It's unclear who, or what their ultimate goal is. But Rattlers have been seen in the skies and a mechanized unit of blue-clad soldiers and HISS-like tanks just took control of Romania. The new recruits have been called in from the best of the best across the entire world.
Are they ready? Well, they've got Outback Breaker, and Kamakura in the Pitt to guide them, so we're gonna find out.

To me, you can play with that timeline AND keep releasing existing ARAH stuff. Keeps current fans engaged while bringing some new story. Hama's only 76. He can write some more bios.

Same. That's why, for example, if Night Viper has some classified-style embellishments, I am kinda into it. I'll get a retro version too goddamnit

Heh, well yeah same. I never had cesspool but I already know I'll get him. And I bet he'll come with some outlandish second masked head I'll love too.

Yes, even if they're designs I'm not tempted to get, I love these ideas. I admit a goth girl would probably be the most tempting for me.

That would be so amazing. Hard yes. As I keep saying, there's plenty of room for all of this.

None of it was anywhere that I could find, so I'm assuming maybe it was in the backroom still waiting to be built/deployed.

I thought it seemed odd, especially considering it was on deep discount on Amazon not too long ago.

Ok so I, like many, have two Cover Girls now. I've decided since I'm a cartoon purist that the first release is going to be Cover Girl. Now I need for one of you creative types to come up with a good codename and backstory for the new one. I'm displaying her with the ponytail and wrench so I'm thinking she's mostly a mechanic but isn't afraid to join the battle if needed.

Best backstory/name wins! There is no prize, just knowing that your character has been immortalized in my collection should be more than enough.
