Oh, you are right it absolutely doesn't work right at all. What I find is I have to add it to the cart, go back, add the NEW thing to the cart, which will appear empty when I do so and not show the previously added items, and then click "view cart" to see all my preorders. Which is a PITA if you're trying to beat a bunch of other dorks also trying to buy the same things at the same time. And on your phone instead of a desktop? Not a chance in hell. All of which tells me their UX team is probably... okay this is Amazon. Their UX team is beaten and abused and not given the tools they need to do it right. Anything fuxxed at Amazon we know is top down. I can't blame anyone doing grunt work at Amazon cos it's a sweatshop. At least someone believes me, lol.
I swear, every time I say something doesn't work, or I can't find something, and KNOWING I have autistically tried every option/method/practice/etc. spending hours & days & weeks with nothing to show for it but frustration, someone always comes along, does/finds it perfectly & immediately, and then at the very least assumes if not flat out accuses that I just didn't do it right/hard enough, lol.
Literally JUST happened this morning at my part-time job. The senior admin who's been here 20 years has NOOOOOOO problem finding files in their insanely disorganized shared drive (they put every file in one folder........), wondered why I was trying to organize things to make them easier to find...

Ma'am, all due respect, but I have IT certifications, have built my last two PCs. I guarantee I know more about "search terms" than your boomer butt, lol.
Lol, whenever I see January for a figure listing I pretty much assume they will find a way to get it out at the end of December pretty much the worst time for me to have preorders come through. First because it’s the holidays and my wife and kids are bigger priorities to me than my collection so funds, if any exist, are at their tightest at that time. Secondly the kids get super excited every time a package arrives in December hoping it’s for them which makes me feel like a jerk when all the packages arriving are for me.January is nice.
Oh, it's super ironic, because while she was training me on the specifics of the office (because I have 15 years of admin experience, I don't need to know most of what this job entails lol), she CONSTANTLY told me to "do what works best for you."@TENIME Heh, their mind must be amazing! Although, I'm one of those who is outwardly disorganized but I know my systems and am fully aware or where everything is. but yeah, I have had that with Amazon, and always the type to immediately find any workarounds. And at work, when a supervisor tells me how to do a task, my reflex is always to think of a 'better' way, that is usually only better for me because I know how I work and no one else can replicate my speed using my methods.
Right, across the board there. November I do check for deals and sales, and December when I can think of it, but yeah mostly I'm thinking about all our family, especially the kids.Lol, whenever I see January for a figure listing I pretty much assume they will find a way to get it out at the end of December pretty much the worst time for me to have preorders come through. I cannot stand their crazy consistent payment processing issues. I think it was this forum where someone helped me out and suggested using Pay Pal and then going into order history to change it back to my credit card. The only other site I can think of that was this ridiculous was Mezco’s. I haven’t ordered anything from there in what feels like a long time but I used to have to delete my card out of the system the day of the preorder and enter it back in right before in order to get it to work and then do it all over again when they finally got around to charging it 2 or 3 years later. But at least it's not telling me my credit card doesn't exist like Pulse is doing to everyone.
Anyway, can't wait to see how much Pulse screws everyone over on the exclusives later this week.
Exactly.Which is a PITA if you're trying to beat a bunch of other dorks also trying to buy the same things at the same time.
EXACTLY!!!!But at least it's not telling me my credit card doesn't exist like Pulse is doing to everyone.
Haw! I am lucky that my supervisor recognizes I am weird yet efficient at least.Oh, it's super ironic, because while she was training me on the specifics of the office (because I have 15 years of admin experience, I don't need to know most of what this job entails lol), she CONSTANTLY told me to "do what works best for you."
Well, I was doing what worked best for ME, lady. Sorry that didn't work for YOU, lol.
Just confirming your anecdotal evidence - I use the same setup. I have run into all kinds of weirdness through the app or via safari on my phone. For y'all with Pulse issues just anecdotal evidence, but I have never had issues checking out using Paypal on Chrome Desktop.
