Seeing the promo photo of Snake Eyes, I both appreciate that they toned down the red and blue to make him more realistic and less 80s neon-y, but also kinda wish they went balls to the walls and made him 80s neon-y. Either eway, I adored v4 even if v2 was always my favorite, so I'm in for him.

I appreciate that they give us options for head swaps on the smaller vehicle pilots, but also, in this economy, I can't do multiple claws at full price, even though I'd love two of the pilot.

I have no memory of Monkeywrench from my childhood, but after doing a photo shoot of the existing 'noks I'm kinda digging building them out further.
 
Thinking about getting a couple of the armored Cobra Commanders to use to flank him as Cobr-ots, his personal robotic bodyguards. I don't really have a need for him as a variant of Cobra Commander. But maybe I will be good and just get Monkey Wrench.
 
RE: Snake Eyes, I think the changes from the original design have been misguided. IMO, they should have done the belt and holsters in black, kept the blue shin guards, and kept the vibrant hot pink goggles. He still looks cool but I think I'll be doing some repainting on mine.

Monkeywrench looks like "Joe of the year" quality, which I tend to say about a lot of Dreadnok figures because they're just so good.

As a guy who plays with his toys, Combat Armor Cobra Commander (I think I like “Combat Armor” better than “Battle Armor”) will be the most fun CC because he can actively *fight*. I’ll have him rocketing around, kicking Joes in the face and punching Iron Man and stealing the Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones. Insane, indestructible, and increasingly annoying: I’m going to have fun with this guy.
Until Snake-Eyes hits him so hard his head rattles around in the helmet and he passes out.
 
The grey between the promo and boxed shot is a make or break for me. Need to see what it really looks like.

Kinda feel like I'm done with Joe outside of a few remasters like CG and Flint. I have my core comic/TV squads I had nostalgia for.

Overkill. He would be cool.

Neon robot?
Wolfenstein-looking cyborg?
Creepy unmasked-Robocop bot-man?

All three? Yup, that’s the right answer.

The Full Force Podcast was mentioning it a couple of streams ago. He had it as a regular release, but then made a point of correcting it on screen to being a Pulse exclusive and the general release info was a mistake.

So still not 100% official from Hasbro, but The Full Force Podcast is about as close to being an insider as one can be today.
