G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

I would say I -mostly- already have my collection cut to the core characters I really like. Bearing in mind that MY G.I. Joe isn't even really tangentially based on the cartoon. My strongest memories, in order of least to most go cartoon, comic, trading cards, toys. So for me, the core Joes are just the ones I played with the most and made the most stories out of.

Of the figures that currently exist, I think my lists would be:

Oddly enough, they kind of compliment each other. Which I didn't plan at all.

Dusted off some childhood photos of my Joes and it's virtually all early 90s. There's a few garage sale older figs in the lot but it's almost all 1991-1994. I really hope they make more figures from 1991-1994. 1993 in particular is chock-full of "alternative" looks for characters like Beach Head, and great pairings like Crimson Guard Commander and Gristle. According to my imaginary toy almanac, I'm right in the era (born in '85) where I can appreciate the original 1988 TMNT toys, but too young to enjoy early 1/18th GIJ. But I don't want to be nostalgic about TMNT forever, buying the same four toys ad infinitum (also the Turtles in Disguise set is so good, I have no interest in upgrading, ever). I want 90s Joes. v2s, v3s, Incinerator, CC in his black hood, Shipwreck in his grey scuba suit. They've done a decent job so far and I know they could make so many more of these guys look AMAZING with modern technology.

Just waiting not-so-patiently.

That's a cool idea to me. She was on the name reveal already right? Having her with the Chameleon is cool rather than another Zartan. Unless it's the Energon Chameleon, which makes me WAY more likely to buy heh.
