G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

Honestly, Snake Eyes should always be available and he has enough costumes that they issue a new one every 24 months and go like 15 years without a repeat. But also they should probably reissue a commando one and a visor one every few years just because if you're going to get new people into the line, he's your Spider Man, your Luke Skywalker, your Batman, just keep him easy to get and cash the check.

For me:
V1 I love because I am an O13/Larry Hama ho. They need to reprint him. Don't redo him, Hasbro, just make more and take peoples' money. He's a GOOD FIGURE.
V2 is the one I just have always, since I was little, liked the best. I'm happy with variations, like putting him in camo pants or whatever, but he's the one I always want a version of. WITH WOLF.
---I think we are due for a tight-pants V2 version, an animated one using the base body from the Classified V4 buck.
V3 I love because of the comic and also because that was the one that came out when my original one broke in half and my mom threw him out. V3 is my SAVED MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS SE.
V4 is just fun.
V5 I don't think I ever owned, but I was still reading the comics when he showed up there so I hope they make him.

Spock-Death SE was a nostalgia pickup for me but I could've lived without him. Desert was totally unnecessary but he's... fuckin' sexy, man, that color palette? Gorgeous. The upcoming green one is filler, but that's fine. I still want Tiger Force Tony the Tiger Pajamas SE.
 
My sole interest in the Snake Eyes movie was Samara Weaving as Scarlett. I'm a big fan and I really wanted her as my shelf-Scarlett since the Wave 1 version is my least favorite in the entire line. Unfortunately, her movie costume was pretty terrible and I passed on it entirely.

However, the release of a rugged Duke has me looking up pictures of Energon Scarlett and I'd be 100% down for that as a figure. My ideal Scarlett is a looser-fitting blue-gray jumpsuit with a yellow/tan protective vest over it. And it looks like that's what they did.

Hopefully rugged Duke is just the first toe dipped into the Energon pool.

I'm not really familiar, but I thought people recognized that Energon used some Classified designs. So Energon comics Destro would be a Classified look rather than the other way around. Do I have that right?

B-Mac mentioned in one of the Yo Joe June streams (I think) that they get together with Skybound about twice a year to go over stories and designs so that there is a bit more synergy between the companies. So the Energon Universe now has the ability to sometimes get designs into the comics a little ahead of the figure, or around the same time.

Destro was wave one and was based on the game of the time. Skybound was nowhere to be found, but I'm sure they might have borrowed a lot of elements from the figure for his early designs in the comic. Or not, who knows for sure.

Oh yeah, I remember Operation: Blackout. I also assumed those character designs were inspired by Classified, but he's saying it was the other way around? That's interesting.
