G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

So I think I just lost the staff weapon that comes with the Cobra-La Royal Guard.

It was sitting on my desk and the cat climbed up beside me, went through a lot of trouble to get hold of it, and is now on the floor throwing it around and chewing on it. This is the cat that we recently rescued that was probably abused, and definitely neglected (and abandoned -twice-). He's gotten pretty comfortable here but he can still be really skittish and irritable, and I almost never see him play.
Despite the toys we got him, the only toy he's actually played with beore this ws the red straw from one of those cans of compressed air that he stole.

So... fuck it. I was never going to display that staff weapon anyway.
 
That's still annoying. My dog Millie is already famous here at AT for chewing up my stuff. I may not use that staff or fist or figure, but I'd still want the option. I like my figures to stay complete and intact, call me crazy. That Cobra-La staff is also pretty cool, for like grabbing captives by the neck and such.
 
I'm on the verge of convincing myself to cancel Zanya and Rottclaw. I like their designs, but not enough for those prices, and probably not enough for the hassle of selling the vehicle and dinosaur. I bet the paleo viper head, the part I'm most into with Rottclaw, will get reused somewhere anyway.

I'm a cunthair away from convincing myself the retro Destro is all I need as well.

At the same time, I'm preparing to sell off two arctic figures so I can have the Drift Viper, not to mention the ferret and stealth flight pod so I can get that Viper.
 
Yeah, with these prices, I'm also taking a big step back and saying 'okay, what do I really love versus what do I just think is cool?'
 
I have a feeling the back half of this year is going to be a nightmare for everyone and I'm snipping away at preorders as well, but I really wish, as LOGICAL as it is to add the bike to Zanya thematically, they'd just put it with like, a new version of Zartan as a deluxe so she was obtainable on her own. The character's a must-get for me but I'd rather pay for the figure alone.

Rottclaw kinda feels like luxury figure anyway since he's not someone anyone has nostalgia for. I do want a cobra dinosaur but if there's a figure who gets cut, it's like corporate layoffs, last one in, first one out.
