The thing with Baroness with me is I hate when she is just 100% Bad Girl Eye Candy. Like I always took her as the kinda gal to wear skin tight black clothes because 1. She always reps Cobra 2. There functional 3. She would wear it if she was 110lbs or 310lbs because she thinks black pants make her butt look awesome. I say all that to say, Bikini Baroness just seems kinda on brand for her. Not in a cheesy "look at the girls fellas" kinda way, but in a "I'm on the Belaggio sundeck, I got bottomless mamosas, I'm reading my book and getting tan-lines cuz it makes Destro freaky and I like that"
 
Right, to be fair she didn't wear that thinking she was on her way to face a bunch of large toys and such. She was in the tanning bed.
 
Canonically, Baroness switched to the black leather because she was horrifically burned and nearly killed in an assassination attempt by Major Bludd, and had to have extensive plastic surgery. She bounced back with the leather gear. So actually it’s totally not just an “eye candy” thing but rather Anastasia trying to reclaim herself and compensate for her injuries. Key turning point in her relationship with Destro as well.

Indeed. But I always found it curious that there was an established line that the Joker wouldn’t cross. For a disturbed individual who has committed mass murder, mutilated people, and brutally beat children to death, it had been established that the Joker found sexual assault, extremely distasteful. At one point he even killed a henchman of his for even suggesting it. Then comes TKJ. While shooting Barbra was well within his character, the photos afterwards, (and possible worse things, depending on how much one wants to read into it), seemed to get dangerously close to that “line” of his.

Nazis!! The Joker *hates* Nazis, and that is a fact. Antisocial? Yes. Antifascist? Definitely!

But yes I don’t need sexual assault stuff from the Joker. The scene in the otherwise-excellent 2000s Joker graphic novel where he crosses that line squicks me way out.
 
Day 56 - Cobra Slavemaster (Animated) (11/7/25)

Nothing too crazy here, just a kitbash of Big Boa and another use for the hooded CC head to make a character from the memorable MASS Device miniseries. Cobra Slavemaster is our penultimate character in Animated Week.

Yeah that is a deep cut for sure. I would still probably pick him up because I'm sure they could do a great job with him.
