Definitely yes to Hydro-Viper! Love that character! Fond memories of bringing Hydro-Viper to Sea World back in the day. The original figure and card art was so cool. Loved his manta ray sidekick. I’d want a Classified version’s gear to fit snugly. The original’s helmet would always come off.

Day 3 - Chameleon I/Ronin

Our next character has never been made by Hasbro. Created for the IDW G.I. Joe series, the first Chameleon's real name is never given. She was recruited by Hawk not just for her deadly skills but for her resemblance to Jinx as she was tasked with infiltrating Cobra security to convince Chuckles to abandon his undercover mission. Ultimately, he chose to continue his assignment in the Cobra Organization and Chameleon instead returned with Erika La Tene, the half-sister of The Baroness, who became a double agent for the Joes. Chameleon left the team shortly after but was eventually recruited once more under the codename 'Ronin' because La Tene had taken her original codename.

Yeah, I figured this would be the first to not get a ton of votes, but I plan to list everyone*, so wanted to show that early on. There are two more "Chameleon"s coming, which will probably be more popular, but I wanted to start with the original (not counting the Baroness repaint).

I do kinda dig the first image with the short sleeves and vest though.

If executed well, I’d buy her.

The whole “chameleon” thing was never a concept that landed with me, though. I don’t need Baroness to have a “good twin” or whatever.

Yeah, I get that... though it's funny the Chameleon in the new comics is a villain.... but Baroness is the good one, heh.
 
Man I am late to this. I definitely want a hooded CC and I had the hydro-viper as a kid so I would love a Classified one too. I haven’t read any IDW yet so the Chameleon is new to me.
 
IDW is pretty different from the marvel days, at least what I've read. The Scoop story with Serpentor was really disturbing to me.
 
I'll get anything, but she's not high on my list. IDW had some great writing at times, but I recall being confused by the art. With people switching/twinsing but figures not being terribly distinct in general led to some re-reading. Thank jeebus for superhero cotumes. They really help this old man keep track.
 
Chameleon would be a purchase when on sale. I don't think I would pay full price for her unless she was some crazy cool figure.
 
They'd have to give her a bunch of outstanding accessories or a neat alternative head. Just a figure with a sword? This is Classified, not Black Series!
