The absolute balls of Hasbro to call a character Maverick at that time in history bu this guy was MY pilot for a long, long time so I remember him very fondly. He's probably my top want for BF2000 just because I got so much mileage out of him as the flyer on my "team" of figures.

I always wondered if they were riding the top gun thing or if it was total happenstance, but he is definitely one of the coolest of the team.

Of all the 2000 guys, Avalanche's action figure I think is closest to "you could throw him in with the other arctic guys and he'd probably work."Get rid of the silver and make those B-movie sci-fi boots practical and he's almost there.
