G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #284 - Caseload (IDW)

Missed NF Spearhead - easy immediate buy. Standard version is a must-have right now but I would definitely buy both.

Bludd with a jetpack? Of course. Only thing better than a vicious mercenary who writes poetry is a flying vicious mercenary who writes poetry.

Day 248 - Zap - (Sonic Fighter) (5/18/26)

We got Zap recently but how about the Sonic version?

You’re gonna get a lot of enthusiasm from me for Sonic Fighters.
This is the superior Zap and I need him.

If they made him a bright silver and not that swirly-twirly bright grey plastic of armored CC, I'd be in for Sonic Fighters anything.

I think I’m the only person on the planet who prefers the non-painted “metallic” plastic.
It’s definitely a “plays with the toys” thing. All-painted ML Ultron feels fragile and easily-chipped and not very hand-candy, but that *other* Ultron with no paint? Literally my favorite Marvel Legend of all time. I will play with him forever.

I don’t mind non-painted metallic plastic. Even the swirly stuff doesn’t bug me.

I don't necessary hate the swirly-twirly. But a shiny silver color can be achieved in other ways and can look better, even if they don't want to/can't just paint the entire thing.
For something like sonic fighters, the brightness of the metallic is what hits my nostalgia button, and a flat swirly grey just isn't going to incite much 'need to buy' in me, is all.

I never thought of this Zap as particularly gaudy, his silver armor notwithstanding. He’s basically in his original uniform, just with protective gear and his projectiles strapped to his front rather than his back. Other than the improved sculpt and the wacky accessories, he’d fit right in with 82-86.

Who doesn't want a Zap figure with "blow me up with one centre mass shot" protective shells on his chest?

Sonic Fighters are well after my time as a kid/teen but I don't mind this look and Classified could do a good job updating him.
