V3 Snake-Eyes was definitely the preferred Snake-Eyes of my youth

Same. I loved every look for him, but each one got better with this being the ultimate. And V2 always bothered me because of his mouth slit. Also another thing I love about Classified's Beachhead over the 86 figure.

Also same. He has been #1 on my wishlist since I started with this line. And yes, I WILL get two because I have unfinished customs of the Paine Brothers waiting for the rest of the needed parts.

And I need his head to look like the card art, with the isolated sunglasses lenses with the cat-eye points, as opposed to the outside wraparound that the old figure had.

And another reason I want the figure to come with both versions of the heads is I want to give one to Snake Eyes and the other to Crispo Paine to make him a little more distinct.

Yeah, if they do this one and shockingly never do another Snake Eyes, I'll still be very happy. But I would definitely go for a retro V2 and even an improved V1! I am also preparing myself to be convinced to get NF Snake Eyes for next year.

Regardless, we are surely getting v3, v5/Ninja Force *or* Retro v2 this year. The only other SE that has been revealed so far is that recolor of A.Commandos with the Varmint, I’d bet money we get a single-card/two-pack Snake-Eyes of some kind this year, and my gut tells me it’s NF.

There is a world in which they release a NF Snake-Eyes/fixed NF Storm Shadow 2 pack, and it sells out everywhere.

And V2 always bothered me because of his mouth slit.

I’ll be real:
While I *love* his v2 design, I honestly think the original figure is a shitty representation of it. He looks like he’s wearing a baggy sweater over an “average guy” body, the whole sculpt is “soft”, and yea the silly mouth slit that they HILARIOUSLY reproduced in tone-deaf fashion in that first shitty live action movie.

I do hope Classified takes another swing at a “modern” Snake-Eyes redesign. The original Classified figure was actually a cool design, but I’d like to see something totally removed from video game aesthetic and also not just a “more detail” v2 update. Not a wild departure, just something along the lines of when they released that bitchin’ nusculpt 3 3/4 Snake-Eyes that was a modern riff on the commando look but with a visor-head option, far more detail, some Tim Bradstreet flair and such. Like that Special Forces guy, but with all those bits and details created to a Snake-Eyes aesthetic.

You know, I forgot there's still another Target NF 2pack coming this year, AND the one next year. If they do Snake Eyes with Storm Shadow, I'll shit myself. In the good way.

Perfectly put. Awesome in the cartoon and the comic, but the figure was dumpy. And yeah, when I saw they reproduced the mouth in the movie I laughed so hard. The second movie was a massive improvement though:

They could do a deluxe one with a great body, not a mishmash like the alpha guys, two heads, and swappable gear and probably get a lot of us to buy two like the Budos.
