Last day for POC week, starting with the Deviant pilot, Cyber-Viper.

I would totally get this Cyber-Viper because he's a Wild Weasel repaint, heh. But if they do Wild Weasel in Retro or something, then nah. Well... maybe still.
 
RoC is such a strange era because NOTHING impresses me about it, but neither does anything offend my sensibilities. Like--that's a fine Viper. I don't need him but I don't dislike him either.
 
I'm gonna be away from the computer for a few days but gonna try to maintain these anyway, but probably won't update the tallies on the first page until next week sometime.

Wrapping up POC week with a bit of a cheat since it's a ROC repaint, but here's Cobra Commander!

Cyber-Viper is a no. I'm not against parts swap characters, but the whatever body with Wild Weasel head and Night Creeper armor, of all things, does not work for me.

Cobra Commander is also a no. I don't know what they were going for with that fucking torso, and I don't care.
 
That Cobra Commander is what happens when someone looks at an iconic design of a character with truly unlimited brand recognition and says "I can do better than this, I'm gonna change EVERYTHING." It has big techbro energy.
 
Cyber-Viper - Maybe
CoCo - Pass. It's like when a car company takes a car from another company, than puts there badge on it and says "Hey, Look at our new Chrysler! Totally not a Mercedes!"

Wasn’t buying Sigma Six, but I can appreciate how some of the designs would be cool Classified style, and this is definitely one. Also just cool to get “original character” representation from all eras of Joe.
