G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #182 - Kickstart (Pursuit of Cobra)

The Cobra Shock Trooper is a great figure, but nothing about it screams Cobra to me outside of the logos. If anything I would suggest the Classified team repurpose the design elements it wants from this figure for a Legacy SWAT team character.

I bought so many Shock Troopers in my customizing years. I've painted them in so many different colors. I've used that vest (actual and cast parts) more times than I can remember. One of my favorite customizing combos was Shock Trooper lower with the ROC Desert Duke torso and arms.

Yes, I'd buy this.

The Cobra Shock Trooper is one that I just never really understood why people were SO gaga over it. I do think it was cool in the way that this is when Joe figures were really evolving into something that looked more like real soldier guys, and this looked more like a realistic take on what a Cobra guy might actually wear. Which is precisely what I don't give a fuck about in G.I. Joe. So....

I think what I'm saying is what this figure represented to me in the Modern/POC era and what made it special and interesting has already been done by Classified with a dozen other figures. This in Classified is just this in a sea of 'this, but better' that already exist now. So, nah.. don't need it and probably wouldn't buy it unless they did something to make it more interesting/unique.

Total greenshirt. Not truly interested but he's got one of those designs that would be better in Classified.
