G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #172 - Dialtone (Rise of Cobra)

JUST DO A MUMMY LINE, HASBRO. FUCK SAKE.
Well they are apparently working on a new Brendan Fraser led Mummy movie so maybe they'll consider a toy line. Though with how badly Indiana Jones shit the bed, Tron as well, and Avatar not translating to any success in toys, I don't see much desire for a company to take on another borderline (in regards to toy sales) movie tie-in.

Classified needs a mummy.
And a yeti.
And a vampire.
This is the way.

I mean, toy companies have not historically learned their lesson about trying to release toys for any and every movie. Look at the list you just rattled off probably without thinking much about it. And there's a lot more if you sat and really thought about it. Some that seemed like they -should- sell, and some that should have been obvious to ANYONE weren't going to sell. But companies keep doing it.

I think a company like NECA would probably do well with the Fraser Mummy films. There's a shocking amount of Millennial nostalgia for the original and I don't think it'd be hard to at least sell Rick and Imhotep with NECA's very undemanding, piecemeal release strategy (plus you'd get to make Toony Terrors of them and it's one more property for the Ben Cooper kids, which is all basically found money). Then if those work out you can go from there.

I wouldn't mind a Sgt. Stone just for the ease of customizing a Rick using that and one of the Hasbro Indy figures. Honestly, if they ever released him, that possibility would make up like a disproportionately high percentage of sales. Like at the level of how many of those Classified cops are now in Gotham or Marvel NYC displays.

Good point.

Day 172 - Dialtone - (Rise Of Cobra) (3/3/26)

Not our first Jill Morelli on this list, and won't even be our last, but this is the only version released as a figure in the 3 3/4 days, and technically something they could already kitbash in Classified. Rise of Cobra week continues with 2009's Dialtone!
