I’m still trying to find a damn neck peg that works the way I want for the lady CG.
NF Falcon head fills up Crazylegs’s helmet just right.
Totally would buy Sneak Peak.
I had Sneak Peek as a kid and he was the most boring, least favorite figure in my collection. I hope they skip him but I would reluctantly buy him because I had him.
Y’know, nothing says “Sneak” like bright red padding. Why is it so many Joes whose speciality relies on stealth, wear such bright colors?
Anyway, he’s not a priority for me but the Classified gang could probably make him interesting. I might get him.
Thats a big f'n scope. I hazard a guess this guy wasn't really military, he works for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Operations and since it is a uniformed service they called him up because he was the only qualified to use that super specific piece of glass.
Do I want a figure of a Soft Pink Dad, with the powers of "hide and seek" and the strategic advantage you can only get by standing on small hill or box? A man who dresses like a superhero crossing guard?
...yeah.
He was part of the recon team Hawk sent to Cobra Island during the civil war, and because of that he was always included on my elite strike team when playing, heh.
I'm assuming the portrait is based on Stephen King's son, which is probably why he's so baby faced. That they set him up with a non-combat role is cute, but he's super tough too, naturally. I joke but I'd snag him day one.
The Collector's Club card art makes it look like he has a "special" relationship with his scope.
That said, absolutely yes. Hama made him great in the comics. I wonder if a modern version would be a drone operator. Or a guy back at base running the satellites.
Do the Joes have a dedicated sniper spotter? That would be a great niche to slot into, if they wanted to keep him in the field.
And yeah, that second profile image is abject hateration. He looks like a nervous Borrower stealing a flashlight.
He’s meant to be a diversion for the Cobra troops.
“Sneak-peek, you take your scope and all this bright red gear, and go out there and “spot the enemy” for us. While they’re shooting at you, we, in our camouflage gear, with actually sneak through the brush and ambush them. If we remember to, we’ll send over Lifeline to see if you’re still alive. Good luck.”
