G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #106 - Thrasher (RAH)/Fatal Fluffy (Animated)

Steel Raven is cool. I consider SKAR to be separate from Cobra, and I do want Iron Klaw and the gang.

“Unnamed Cobra Operative” there looks like Cobra Commander’s uniform without a mask . . .

@Ru1977 I can't believe how deep of a cut you made today. I'd buy both. Steel Raven looks straight off those dodgy pulp covers in another thread. Unnamed agent with a cool name and bio would work for me. Something about thay particular orange and blue is striking.

They’re trying a little too hard with that “S.K.A.R.” name. Anyway. Steel Raven would be a maybe depending on execution. I could work out a “head cannon” for her in the Cobra ranks.
As for the bald chap, either no real reference as to his identity or even his role in Cobra, the Classified crew would have to create his profile from the ground up. Likely pass unless they’re able to make an interesting character out of him.

Thank you! I was sitting on that one for a month or so now and decided today was the day.

Agreed. There's a really classic kinda quality to her, and I think she'd still stand out against all the other Cobra agents.

Definitely. Name, bio, and possibly an alternate head/mask or something.

Wasn't "Trying too hard" the theme of the Extreme line?

Definitely, there's always plenty of room in Cobra for another Ruthless Person.

And they may make someone really cool if working from the ground up, but I totally get that stance.

For a little more reference, here's the entire panel he appears in. Remember, at the time, Baroness wasn't a figure either, so Hama needed some faced-agents for Cobra. Too bad he didn't use this guy just a few more times before Destro etc showed up.

The radar headgear would be a great accessory for a pinless, accurately-tooled classic/comic Cobra Trooper/Officer.
Agreed. I think we've had a few guys in this thread now that could use that mold so that's money saved via reuse, then there will be desert repaints, Crimson repaints, the Stun Fire Team or what have you.

I don't know if I'd grab just a regular radar guy, but if it were a classic-style Cobra Trooper with optional parts I DEFINITELY would.
This. I’m good on Cobra troops, but if they offer some more variety in gear, and/or sculpts, I could be lured in, for some variety in the Cobra ranks.

Oh my god the Steel Raven box art looks like a knockoff porno version of a GI Joe package. But I would probably buy a character who looks like a porno version of a GI Joe character because eye patches are cool.

The unnamed agent - throw that head into a basic retro Cobra trooper as a second option and I'd pick him up. Don't think he needs his own figure but that's a perfectly fine bonus head for a plain trooper buck.

Maybe combine the radar tech and the unnamed guy. Maybe it was the same guy all along and he just keeps adding another piece of his costume in each subsequent panel in which he appears.

I missed the radar tech guy - yeah, just do one figure and throw the unnamed, the tech, and the helmeted heads into one pack as an easy army builder.
