G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Two for me, fo sho. That may be enough. Gotta get a sense of how they feel in hand. Then I might go for more, since they can all be displayed with unique looks depending on what armor is used.

Apparently whatever G2099 HER Tarra is, it's already in the US but still don't know what it is. And the totally unknown character from the next wave is supposed to be revealed today.

Yeah, oopsie, Hasbro accidentally made an obvious army builder unnecessarily deluxe...

Comedian Gary Gulman's got an old bit excoriating Blockbuster's "criminally loose definition of New Release." I feel the same about Hasbro and "deluxe" figures. Sometimes there isn't markedly more stuff to justify such a designation. Sometimes (as here) there probably is more stuff than usual, but there didn't need to be and the inclusions were driven by the decision to make it deluxe pricepoint rather than the other way around.

Excited for it. This one was a favorite from childhood, I've loved the Classified updates to Cobra-la, and it looks gorgeous (if a bit bulky and also I guess I always thought of them as insectoid rather than bald gray men in insect suits). But I'm not super pumped about buying 2 or 3 at this pricepoint, as I would have at a lower pricepoint. I'm also running into storage issues with all the unused bits companies include for "options" now to justify higher pricepoints, 4HM-style.

Wait that's for real? That's kind of exactly what a few of us talked about wanting for a classified version of her if they made her.

@AceofKnaves I am really sorry for that.

BUT... Another really cool thing about Dawn is she is a comic character so I'm hoping that door has now been pushed wide open.

Also, she goes up tomorrow and I'm guessing she is part of the next wave, does that mean Iceberg, Not Wild Bill and th rest as well?!?
