If anything, oftentimes those vendors just have developed really good relationships with people in Hasbro. It's certainly possible they know stuff the same way other people know stuff; they had access and spoke to the right person to find out.
 
Hoping they release a new version of Wild Bill soon. He's too cool to keep behind a paywall. But I'll be surprised if that pic is the one they go with - I really feel like they'll make him in his Sunbow colors as a repaint. I'm still shocked they went with his classic look for the Haslab instead of an alternate.
 
Be kinda cool if the next MTO is the Tiger Fly with a first-time-ever TigerForce deco Wild Bill.

I expect any single-carded Bill is going to be cartoon deco or maybe v2 deco. Because...

I'm not. Because that's his 'classic' look, but definitely not his SIGNATURE look. If you tell most Joe fans to close their eyes and imagine Wild Bill, I'd bet dollars to pesos the majority of them see blue - either the v2 figure, the cartoon look, or some kind of nostalgia-blurred gestalt of the two.
Classic is the version of the character they -have- to make and makes the most sense to come with the classic vehicle. But I'd say the team knows that most/many of the customers that would want Bill but not be willing to spring for his ride, are probably more likely to be just as or exclusively into one of the aforementioned looks.
 
I'd be happy if Wild Bill skewed Sunbow, and v2 is also very much in my ridiculous wheelhouse. Or a re-release in Night Force colors would be rad. Kinda just want Wild Bill, however they serve him up.
 
The HasLab Wild Bill is the Bill design that came with the original Dragonfly, so it was inevitable that’s the one that would be included there.

That said: that’s my *least* favorite ARAH-era Bill design. The Battle Corps “Union Cavalry” outfit is my favorite, but the Sunbow version is also awesome.
I want both.

Oh yeah. It hadn't occurred to me that releasing past HasLabs as MTOs is a constantly turning clock.

I've just been counting down to when we see what their SnowCAT repaint will be, but we really can expect a Dragonfly and Rattler in between.
