G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Here is Hasbro's recap of the Panel with better shots of the reveals. Also Lara Croft is a mainline release so I imagine she'll be available everywhere if people are freaking out about preordering. Mainline means Walmart, Target, Amazon and everyone else of course.

 
So, all the retro like you said, and some exclusives for the movie. He also mentioned some in the retro line will have been previously exclusive, so I'm feeling pretty good about Nemesis Enforcer and Serpentor.

Yeah I figure Chuckles (in movie colours), Jinx, and Serpentor are pretty much locks. Nemesis probably as well I'm just wondering if they have the ability to fit him on the card with a set of wings?

Also I hope there is some modularity to the Thunder Machine. Eric said there is a lot "play" in it so hopefully pieces can be (re)moved and different looks can be made.
 
Is there any difference between movie Jinx and Ninja Force Jinx? Either way i think the version they made blows them out of the water, the only other version I'd pick up of her is Energon Jinx

Getting Chuckles would be nice. There are a ton of options for retro cards.

I'd love it if Clutch somehow made it to single carded released. I've resigned myself to getting the VAMP1 re-issue in the next few years... but it would be nice to have the option.

BMAC said that the 2-pack Jinx will be a new, never seen before, look.

So the movie (classic) look should be Retro card and she'll be whatever they came up with in the 2-pack.

I imagine they'll get around to a single release Clutch. Probably a couple years after either the VAMP or VAMP MK2 release (whichever is later). Same with probably most "name" drivers like Wild Bill. I'm surprised they haven't done a standard HISS Driver release yet, but that is probably pushed off again with the Arctic HISS coming soon.

Could be an opportunity to release him with just a much-smaller set of wings that look more like the movie, although of course the movie wings were quite large.

I was thinking the same. Not as small as the RAH wings but smaller than the first version.

Daina is the only definite for me next year so far but maybe Shipwreck. That was my first kitbash using the Steel Brigade body but I'm ready to replace him if their version is awesome and use that body for someone else.

So, was that it? Because that might have been Classified's most disappointing showing since the line launched. An MTO we hadn't seen before as a render reveal and... nothing else. Fucking LAME. Hardcore lame.

Yeah, are we too on it with leaks and updates? Feels weird.

But I'm cool with it. I want Deming, then maaaaaaaaybe Snake Eyes and Jinx, then nothing until next year..so I'll probably get bits for kitbashes in a couple months...
