That made me want to puke. Oh! Conrad "Puke" Hauser.
AND take pictures and tell Hasbro.
I picture two goofballs who have your address flagged so they can make sure the defective ones always get sent there. I know I'm a paranoid person but this pattern is too apparent!
Hasbro is making a lot of enemies among its workforce lately.Damn, first Lenny, now Tony too.
I guess when your top guy is a Cocks, it's gonna be as advertised after a while.
I heard the opposite from some folks who do freelance for them when they talk to the fulll-timers. A couple of industry analysts I follow said Hasbro's got the least pro-AI push to the point where their stock dropped based on some statements from the CEO about AI use a few months back.I have heard, but cannot confirm if this is true, that Hasbro leadership is leaning HARD on basically everyone in the company to start using AI in their jobs. This is -mostly- confirmed to be true where WotC is concerned, although it's not the only major complaint the WotC employees have (constant pump-and-dump structure where you force out loads of product and then fire most of the people that made it, treating salaried workers more like on-demand gig workers being a huge problem as well).
But my understanding is that this push on WotC for more AI generated content is just as prevalent on the Transformers, Joe, and Marvel teams being pushed on to use AI for basically any element of their work that it could -in theory- be used for, if AI actually did the things dumb-as-fuck rich people think it does.

That being said, Hasbro is in a CONSTANT cycle of hire/lay off / hire / lay off and I'm sure that is just intolerable for anyone working there. I'm constantly seeing jobs on their creative teams I'm qualified for and just ignore them because it's not a dream job if it's just an 18 month contract pretending to be a full time gig.
(EDIT: Also their in-office requirement is dumb as fuck considering how it limits the talent pool. I bet they pushed the Joes team to move to Boston and when they looked at relocation costs started peacing out.)
